I am a musician, artist, and teacher. I enjoy flying, sailing and travel. I visit New York City as often as I can and love to travel in and out of the USA.
Music
I'm a classical violinist and play in a local orchestra so, I certainly love classical music. I'm also an old prog. rocker such as Genesis, Yes, ELP, Pink Floyd, King Crimson etc) and recently purchased some of Genesis guitars and instruments. A large variety of musical appreciation really. Jazz (the old classic stuff), fusion, blues, rock, and on and on.
Television
I have enjoyed a number of shows over the years. Northern Exposure, Monty Python, The Young Ones, Faulty Towers, Mr. Bean, Sex and the City, M*A*S*H, Gray's Anatomy, Boston Legal, House, Simpsons, Three Stooges.
Books
Zen and the Art of Motorcycle maintenance, The Children and other Halberstam, Folkner, Douglas Adams, Vonnegut, lots more.
About me: I like to travel and really enjoy music. I have been a musician most of my life and play a variety of instruments. I try to experience as much of life as I can and am strongly independent. I sail, skydived, have been a pilot (including flying a B-17 Bomber and aerobatics in an WWII AT-6 Texan). I am a college professor teaching computer related topics. I play violin in an orchestra in Grand Rapids MI., and played in the road band of Nashville recording artist Larry Ballard.
