Primarily 80's rock, but I also enjoy techno, country, classical, and even bluegrass from time to time. I like many different genre of music.

Action films are my favorite. 50's era war films are also another pleasure, with the movie "In Harm's Way" being my all time favorite movie. Comedy, documentaries, I guess I like a wide variety of movies, I just have some kinds I like better.
Television
I don't really watch a lot of television. If I were to watch tv, my primary choices would be either the SciFi channel or the History channel.
Books
With out a doubt Sci Fi and Fantasy are my favorite type to read. I think "Battlefield Earth" by L.Ron Hubbard is one of the best I have ever read. Please don't judge this book by the pathetic attempt at a movie that was produced a few years ago. The movie only covered about the first 1/5th of the book and didn't even do it justice. Dune was another excellent one, and again both the first and second movie attempt were horrid. The second WAS better, but not by much.
About me: Wow, how to describe yourself... Well, I live near Gambier, on a farm but work in Columbus. It is quite peaceful out in the Amish country where I live. I like to sit outside in the late evening and watch the deer graze, the hummingbirds sip from their feeder, listen to the frogs croaking down at the pond, and watch the fireflies do their mating dance. I am not really big on watching televised sports, but from time to time will watch a football game (like the Buckeyes) or a race. For my hobbies I enjoy a wide and diversified range of activities ranging from gardening, leatherworking, working out, camping, computers, motorcycles, and I recently picked up a new hobby of playing with an anvil and forge in an attempt to learn blacksmithing.
