I was born on November 8, 1847, around Dublin/Clontarf, Ireland. I was the third of the seven children. I was a student at "failte go dti colaiste na trionoide" better known as The University of Dublin, Trinity College, i enrolled in many athletics as well as academics, and graduated with honors in mathematics in 1870. I worked in the Irish Civil Service for ten years, and my spare time contributed to drama criticism in the Dublin Mail. Henry Irving was one of my friends, and in 1879 I became Irving's manager; I also acted as manager, secretary, and a director at London's Lyceum Theatre. I began writing and publishing novels, beginning with The Snake's Pass in 1890; Dracula followed in 1897.I married a beautiful wife named Florence Ann Lemon Balcombe, on December 4, 1878. I have one child named Noel. Hi Bram,

Yes, I am still doing the myspace assignment for my classes. The problem is now that I am running out of authors! I think I will incorporate song writers into this project next year. The students might enjoy that. I am glad you found your password, too. You built a beautiful site here. It would be nice to maintain it. Who knows when you will be able to use it again? I am sure I will see you around campus, and have a nice summer....

I have posted the new works cited scramble as a blog. You can highlight that section and right click...print selection, and that should give it to you. I am also going to make copies for the class since many seem to have a problem printing from pipeline.

I think you profile is awesome as it is. You have done a great deal of work on it, and it shows. :)

Maybe for your research you could focus on the influence Stoker and Dracula have had on the Gothic movement.........why or why not........did Stoker have an influence.......???????
What is the appeal of Dracula....???

I really like your new background.......
