About me:
I am a 53 year old social worker. I love life, family and friends. I feel that age is like a fine wine it gets better with time. I live in Killeen Texas and enjoy rollar skating and swimming. I also enjoy all different types of music, everything from opera to rock. I love meeting new people and I am currently semi retired from my profession due to some health issues. I have a condition called Lupus, but I also believe that as with any condition a person is only disadvantaged by the condition if you allow yourself to be. A individual can adapt to physical changes. I know what I need to do to keep myself motivated and I listen to my doctor. I have been told most of my life i am hard headed, imagine this quality has been my driving force. If I had a dream vacation it would be to go to Ireland and Scotland and see the country side nd visit some ancient castles. I love history and learn about individuals who lived many centuries before me, who they were, what they were like. I visited Fredericksburg Va. the battle field, walked on the hill area where a hand full of Confederate soldigers held off the union army. I have also visited Gettysburg and seen little round top. Our country went through growning pains but all the people who have given their lives for us so we can now have the priviledge of choice in our lives. I do not believe our country should pander to the few who say they are insulted by the word "GOD" if those words offend you then perhaps you should stay away from areas where these words are used and or displayed, why should a few dictate what the many should or should not be able to say, do or believe. This country was founded n freedon to choose so allow us all those rights and stop choosing for us.
