I know times are hard. Most of us are short on $ so I have reserved an area (the bird cage) which is just for hanging out, drinks, etc. from 8-midnight, so if you don't want to order dinner, no problem, just hang out there with me and have finger food.
UCB's midnight show is only $5 and well worth your buck. You will laugh like no other.
Parking is horrible so plan ahead and carpool if you can. If you live in the valley, I’d love to carpool with you. Lots of my friends live on the Westside so get phone numbers and get rides so that parking will not ruin your night.
My parents and my wonderful little brother will come and have dinner at the Birds with me as well. I am very excited to have the chance to introduce some of my friends and colleagues to them and Omeed will also be there. He just moved from Santa Cruz to SoCal-finally!

yeah, i'm pretty obsessed with collecting records (hence the tattoo, hehe). they are so much better than cd's for sure... the sound is better, the whole experience of listening to a record is better. that's pretty funny about the funky town record. the first time i can remember my mom letting me play a record on my own was blondie's parallel lines. haha, i usually bought cassettes when i was little, then i started buying cd's a little later (i'm not sure when exactly), so i didn't get cd's right away either. now i just try to buy mainly records if i can, but i do buy cd's sometimes if it's something really good that i won't necessarily be able to easily find somewhere else. i still buy cassettes, too, and i have a couple of 8-tracks but no 8-track player. :/ i'm back in town, we should hang out soon! :)
lol... u just hav to be prepared for ALOT OF STRESS... every time i learn a new concept i just prepare to pull out some hair lol.... and yaaaa... i usually just have like one day where im like super bored... LIKE seriously anything seems more exciting ....annnnyyyyythiiinnngggg... but ya probably sum ganja will probably give ya a burst of inspiration!

Definitely, that would be fun. You know how I love pancakes, haha. Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. Pretty much the only thing keeping me from getting more tattoos right now is money. If i had money or knew someone who does tattoos, I would probably be covered, hehe. New york was good. We played two shows in brooklyn (one we got added to the night of), and those went really well, and then we just stayed there for a few days since we had some days off before our next show. It's a really cool place, the record stores are awesome. I want to go back there when I have money to spend on such things...
Yeah, that's definitely true. After I got my first one I thought that was going to be it, but then the urge to get more slowly creeped up on me, haha. Not yet, I'll be back in about two weeks though.
that would be so cool, either one. i've been thinking about various portraits and things, mainly on my arms. i want to get something norway-related, maybe on my ankle, but i haven't decided what. and i don't want to get thor's hammer because everyone has that, haha.
