To all who come upon this myspace...welcome to my music house.Freedom of Imagination is what this music is all about. All these recordings were made spontaniously, nothing planned, did some in 5 mins 1 take, did some over months and galaxies!!!.But basically if music is art, then surely musicians must be allowed the freedom to paint just as the Leonardos and holy joe's!...and to those who query the worth of this music, i'll say this....At least i recorded a moment of time, with all its flaws, bare assed and laughing, had the balls to put it up here for all to hear...would you?..after all isnt music free to explore?.
I’m native to the landscape of a salvage,
I’m a rocket in a cold murky space,
I’m not intimidated by horizon,
Bureaucratic barbed wire and isolation,
A blind tadpole in a mud puddle,
A sleepwalker, his neutral balance,
And one little word cryptically instructed,
Slowly spreads ripples,
With rough bare hands,
In rubber sheathed arms,
I entrust my life at the edge of the pier,
To my monitors, my scanners.
Hi everybody, just here to say our new RORY GALLAGHER HAWK BOOSTER is ready for shipping. Have a listen if you get a chance, All the best, Stevie Flynn.
Eliminate all BUTs from your life. Think about what the effect of BUT is in your communication to yourself and others. When we talk to ourselves we often use BUT to distort our reality in a way that leads us to go down familiar negative paths. We tell ourself a postive and then use BUT to take it away a lot of times. We tell someone that we love them and then we spoil it by saying BUT this is happening which our special person interprets as we don't really love them. I am successful BUT I am not as motivated as I want to be. Does this take away from the pleasure of being successful or does it take away the success altogether.
Use the word AND instead; you will find that you are more at peace with yourself, and your friends and family appreciate the positive talk. You will even find it easier to get rid of that other BUTT when you stop using BUT altogether.
This will be our final gig, and what better way to go out than sharing a stage with one of our favourite bands? Thanks to all the people we've worked and played with over the last few years; we hope we've turned some frowns upside down...we've certainly had so much fun it probably should've been illegal! I think it could be summed up best by one of the great thinkers of our time, Mr Vinnie Jones: "It's been emotional..."
What if your happiness is simply the choice of accepting people as they are and not labeling them as right or wrong? (This would include the judgments you make of yourself as well.)
If you judge someone as being wrong then you are not being open to who they are. We are always right, but that only applies to what interior criteria we are using to make this judgement. The core of who we are you might say. The challenge is to understand that this does not mean that we are right outside of our own mind, body and soul.
The next time we think about judging somone else we might want to remember how it feels to have others judge us according to their standards.
There is only one entity (God) that has the ability to judge in my view and I have not come face to face with it yet ;-). My God does not judge either in my opinion so judging is just left to people that feel the need to be right.
Have a fantastic week and thanks for listening to my rambling.
Stopping by to say thank you for your comments and stopping by to say hello. It is always nice to hear from you. I have been down with a bug the last few days and it is nice to be back up and functioning again. This morning I had a wonderful time with around 60 seniors at a breakfast talking about how the mind works and it was fun and exciting to watch them smile and appreciate just what they have become over the years.
I bet that each one of you have also some wonderful stories and memories as well. I was thinking this morning that we spend som much time talking to each other about things that really don't matter that it might be nice to talk to our friends about things that do.
For instance do you remember that time you felt completely loved by someone? What was it that allowed you to feel that? Do you know what it was that your friends and family experienced that allowed them to experience it as well. Other memories to ask about might be the first time you felt like you could conquer the world? How about the first time you felt excited to do something? The first time you knew you were in love? What would you like to feel today and after you have that answer think of a time when you did and if you have never felt that way ask yourself what you would want it to feel like and create that.
You could if you wanted to change anyone's life with a simple question.
Hi everybody, just here to say a big thanks for all your support. The new workshop is well and truly up and running and the custom cabs are now available to order. All the best, Stevie Flynn.
Hello My Friend Tom, and our respect for your work !!!
Welcome to our list and thank you for becoming our friend!
The helpless must be protected, and those with no voice of their own must be spoken up for. Those who prey on our children rely on silence, and it must not be allowed to continue! So thank you for adding your voice to ours, together we will grow louder...AND WE WILL BREAK THE SILENCE!!!
Stopping by to say hello and say thanks. Have you ever had one of those weeks that life likes to challenge you at every turn? Well this has been one of them for me. Computer decided to act the something from the terminator series and did not like human interaction and it was like life was saying slow down and focus.
So lets slow down and focus. Do you believe that we attract what we focus on? If so what have you been focusing on things you want or are you putting a lot of thought into stuff you don't want to have. Just by being more aware of what we spend our time thinking about can show us where we are heading at times. Of course you could just say we have to live in this world that the media has created for you and you have to experience everyone's pain that you see and be that martar. I am a little more selfish I guess because I like experiencing everyones joy instead. Nice thing about life is you have a choice so it is up to you.
Thanks for looking me up. I look forward to our friendship and getting to know you a little better. In the meantime take control of your life and ask yourself what if everything this week went exactly like I wanted it to go. What would that be like?
