I love all types of music. and yes even country. of course I have a preference of urban styled music but I love it all. I love to rock out, I love to be soothed, I love to dance, I love to be taken on a technical beaten high. and I love any music that TRULY praises the lord. I can't stand music that depicts the people of my heritage as drug dealers, rapists, thugs, ignorant, sex driven, or money hungry.
Movies
Love animated films. Love action both sci-fi and reality based as long as some thought has been put into the storyline and some creativity thrown in. Love scary movies as long as it isn't some B rated movie. Love to laugh, If I'm crying from laughter then the movie is perfect. case in point "Dumb and Dumber" HILARIOUS.
Television
Whatever is creative, enlightening, awe inspiring, takes you away, makes you think or makes you laugh. I HATE THE MEDIA. THEY'RE LIARS. I can't stand television that depicts the people of my heritage as drug dealers, rapists, thugs, ignorant, sex driven, or money hungry.
Books
"I sat by the river Pedro and cried", LAB 257 (factually based book), All C.S. Lewis and Tolkien books, "Where the red fern grows"., etc......
Who I'd like to meet: God, His son Jesus of course.. as far as human beings. Michael Jackson, wow what it is to be someone so multitalented, so inspirational, so misunderstood, so underrated, so attacked, so misquoted and so not guilty (study fact, and compare it to media, you'd be surprised at the difference in almost every subject) Janet his sister of course. I'm gonna need Jermaine Dupri to get up off my woman. Madonna (self explanatory), Prince (self explanatory) TuPac (if it was possible, what a conflicted, Talented human being....A standing sound mural to what society does to many black minds/ juggling a natural and cultural awarness of sensitivity and God with Anger from the obvious slant against our people from government and media portrayal, and with the need to "keep it real" a propoganda that is killing us more than helping us. the definition of keep it real has been twisted). I would also like to meet Kofi Anon, Barak Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Pharell, Mary J. Blidge, Denzel Washington, Kanye West, Common, Lauryn Hill, Pras, Mya, Van Gogh, Da Vinci, Dali, Fra Filipo Lippi, James Baldwin, Anne Rice, James Tokien, C.S. Lewis etc. etc. etc. the list goes on.
