For years me and my brother have been looking for something more when it came to music. We knew we had the talent and the right resources but it was all a matter of what to do with what we had. During this time, my brother and I recorded various demos and cover songs to try and get a feel for what we wanted to offer the music industry. One of the first things we started to work on was building a following out of the college community.
During this time we started looking for musicians to support our cause. We've had a horn section, string section, background singers, and even dancers. With all of this, we wanted to become something more to the college community. Being a band that doesn't play The Beatles, The Who, Pearl Jam, Big and Rich, John Mayer, DMB, and even Alien Ant Farm was something that even college student and young adult could understand. There isn't enough bands with young performers performing something that is only done by major pop artist.
Soon, we began working on a set list that could be compared to a song list on an FM station. A set list without any breaks and all music, keeps the crowd interested--and that is what we wanted. How many bands will perform (Usher, Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, John Legend, Chris Brown, and RobThomas) all in the same set. Therefore, these are some of the things that will make Blu-Print the next best thing, when it comes to performance and music talents. With Jai-Tee (lead vocals), Larry "Tommy" Thomas II (keys), Kory Nero (Bass Guitar), Jon Baker (Electric Guitar), Cortez "Teddy" (keys) and Myron Cherry (drums), this group of performers has taken Pop performance music to another level.
