I'm the girl who is: along for the ride or driving the car, in the ebb and flow. I know my inner and outer child, intelligent but not supercilious. Not known for masking myself, or playing pretend. What you see, you get... and my friends confirm its a great package. I'm the girl schoolin' ya at pool and can cook a mean pot of chicken n dumplins. I have my artisan streak... I love to create. Color is my friend. Great art inspires me and I want to paint the world with it. I'm not afraid of a cold beer getting warm (but I like my wine chilled). If you need loyalty, you can earn it... but its worth its weight (and wait) in more than gold. What inspires me: the learning faces of my nieces and nephew... Sarah McLachlan on a long languid night... face-to-face, no-punches-pulled, 'til the bitter end conversations with good friends... people with a history who have learned something from it to make better of the next day from it... seeing dawn from the other side with the right person wrapped around me(though that’s been a while)... low down dirty delta-blues on a rainy day... my father's endless tome of knowledge... those who better their education for edification, hope for wisdom, and not merely for vocation... What I honor in myself and others: Laughter in everything, bone quaking compassion, honesty, courage, triumph, drive, knowing one's own self (and sticking to IT!), throwing caution to the wind, prioritizing humanity over status, pride in hard work, lending a hand, living in the moment, humility, justice, grace under fire but passion in the heat of the moment.

Albert Einstein, Marie Curie, Sarah McLachlan and the tooth fairy (any fairies would do)! And of course I can't wait to meet our baby Aurelia!!! As far as the general population I'd like to meet people who... Have good head on their shoulders.. Can go with the flow... Are straightforward, have integrity, are trustworthy... Like adventure and chill time equally... Appreciate the things around them... Can form a complex sentence beyond, "yo babe, you fine" (without blatantly staring at the gifts the good Lord gave me)... Like good times, good people, good conversation, good music, and getting out on the town... People who don't discriminate against body art...(I totally dig it and have some of my own and always planning more)
