Hello, and welcome to my little corner of MySpace Music!
Music (especially jazz) and saxophones are my passion and my second career. I play in a piano/sax duo called the Jazzmen Duo, the Montgomery County (PA) Concert Band, the Doris Simon Swing Band, and a couple of rehearsal bands.
My strong suit is the performance of standards in the jazz repertoire (like "Green Dolphin Street", "How High the Moon") and classic jazz tunes (like "Now's the Time", "Doxy"). I also write and perform a lot of my own original material. (The songs above are all songs that I wrote.) I'm at my best when interacting with an audience.
I'm always open to new musical opportunities, so don't hesitate to contact me, if you are in the Philadelphia area, and you need a sax player. Please visit my personal web site for more information on me and my musical chops.
Just dropping by to say hi Mike. Gotta get up there....Tim says you are really sounding great these days. I am one step closer to doing what you're doing in the next couple of years! Can't wait. Hope all is well.
A big thanks to all my friends... I just went over 10,000 listens on my player. I've added a fifth tune to my player, an arrangement of Scott Henderson's "Harpoon", the leader and guitar player of Tribal Tech.
