Im into all the latest American shows to hit our screens lately, The 3 versions of CSI, Criminal Minds, Lost, 24, Prison Break, Greys Anatomy, Scrubs, Rodney, House. British TV is dull and unwatchable at the best of times, apart from little Britain, Dirty Sanchez and 8 Out Of 10 Cats of course!!. Was always a huge fan of the late Steve Irwins "The Crocodile Hunter", shame we wont get that madman on our screens again!!

I like books with substance, gritt and hard facts!!, say for instance somethin about high profile murder, deceit and scandal. A book abt 9/11 would be very compelling but no doubt it would be full of so much red tape and propaganda it would make you fucking sick!!. Would never read a fictional book, im all abt gathering knowledge, I want to be aware of significant, defining dates and moments in time. Iv read abt JFK, The troubles in Ireland, The Concentration Camps in Poland during the second world war, one of which iv been to, Majdanek, it was a horrifying but eye opening experience. I seen what the "prisoners" seen, it sent a chill down my spine, how must they have felt?. Im startin to ramble now, im suprised you're still reading!!

Any human being who stood up for their and other peoples rights, risked their lives so others could prosper. The thousands of Irish who fought against British rule is a great example, if only the other half were as courageous we would'nt have a divided Ireland today. JFK, Martin Luther King, Michael Collins, Oskar Shindler, Pope Jean Paul II and Nelson Mandela are obvious too. Bob Geldoff for his amazing and sustained effort to rid the world of poverty, he wont succeed but he's making a huge difference, if only he had the required funding, support and facilities. But lets not forget todays heroes. Every, firefighter, Police officer, every other member of the emergency services and not to mention the heroic civillians who tried in vein to save thousands of lives in the aftermath of 9/11.
