About me:
I'm originally from Texas and spent most of my childhood there but ended up spending an equal amount of time in Oklahoma, mostly high school and college days. I've lived in many parts of Texas and several different areas of Oklahoma. The OU vs. TX game is a difficult one for me; however I tend to lean towards OU! After my parents divorced, my father joined the ARMY reserves, remarried and off we moved to Colorado. And so I began my life as a gypsy, constantly moving around. I've managed to stay in contact with all most everyone I've met throughout my many moves. I spent adequate time sewing my oats before I joined the air Force @ 24. I've done all kinds of work in many different sectors, everything from white to blue collar jobs and even no collar! Finally I got tired of paying for college and realized my dream of going to Italy was not happening soon enough. So I joined the Air Force in hopes of completing college and going to Italy. My first assignment was Utah for 1 yr. which I enjoyed. But I had to get to Italy so I volunteered for Korea. Many wild and crazy nights there! After Korea I went to Guam, oh... the island life! I only got to enjoy Guam for a few months before I went off to support the war. Finally I made it to Italy, living in the heart of Tuscany, Pisa precisely. I enjoyed 4 almost 5 fantastic yrs of the Italian life style. I completed 2 associates' degrees. I'm 1 class away from completing my minor in Biology and about 10 classes away from completing my major in Environmental Management. I've spent a total of almost 7 yrs living overseas; from 2001 to 2007. When I wasn't in school I spent all my free time traveling Europe! So, mission completed. I'm so blessed to have been able to enjoy such a life. Realizing I missed the United States I elected to return. In December 2007 I got what I consider to be a great assignment to Langley AFB, Virginia. Who knows what this journey should bring but I'm excited to begin...

I had no ideas the tours and tastings were so inexpensive...
Your guided tour includes a video presentation on grape growing (viticulture) and winemaking (oenology), a stroll through the barrel cellar and a visit to the production area.
In our museum you will enjoy a collection of unique and rare vintage wine bottles with a grand finale tasting of seven of our wines in an etched wine glass that is yours to take home as a keepsake. $8.00
Reserve Wine Tastings are available by appointment only in our private wine cellar. You will sample and compare some of the reserve wines produced at the winery with selected vintages from our library collection. A country sampler of assorted cheese and crackers will complement your personalized tasting and you will take home an oversized etched reserve wine glass to remember your tasting. $30.00
Tour and Tasting with Lunch. Guests are brought on a guided tour of the winery. Afterwards, a lunch is provided in the Gabriel Archer Tavern overlooking the vineyards. Guests keep an engraved tasting glass as a memento of the visit. Lunch includes a glass of wine, main course, dessert, and coffee or tea. ONLINE OFFER ONLY. $28.00
You let me know when you are free to go!!
