About me:

Hello my space friends! Sorry for the leave of absence but so much has been going on. I was busy this summer with school and helping a few friends in need. I managed to get in a few adventures though. Adena’s bachelorette party and wedding were definitely a highlight. It was great to see some of my old friends. As most of you know Jason and i got married in August and for those of you who don’t well surprise! We had a great time traveling around the Charlottesville area tasting wine. It’s beautiful in the mountains here. Now i’m busy working on the house and doing anything to stay busy till Jason comes home from Korea. I’m setting off on a cruise with a few girlfriends in October. We’re going to the Bahamas, Mexico for day of the dead and Fantasy Fest in Florida. It’s sure to be a blast! I’ll do my best to keep in touch but i find myself spending all my time on facebook. So if i’m not in contact you know where to find me. Enjoy the rest of the year!

    I start my part time job tomorrow, so I don't have my schedule for this upcoming week.
    If my saturday is free, I'm all over it I LOVE those medieval festivals (however I'll just go and won't be dressing up ) :) I'll know after tomorrow!

    I thought of you today as I drove by a sign for the Williamsburg Winery...so I went online to see what they had going on and LOOK!

    I had no ideas the tours and tastings were so inexpensive...

    Your guided tour includes a video presentation on grape growing (viticulture) and winemaking (oenology), a stroll through the barrel cellar and a visit to the production area.

    In our museum you will enjoy a collection of unique and rare vintage wine bottles with a grand finale tasting of seven of our wines in an etched wine glass that is yours to take home as a keepsake. $8.

    Reserve Wine Tastings are available by appointment only in our private wine cellar. You will sample and compare some of the reserve wines produced at the winery with selected vintages from our library collection. A country sampler of assorted cheese and crackers will complement your personalized tasting and you will take home an oversized etched reserve wine glass to remember your tasting. $30.
