About me: I just graduated from UMass with my master's degree in special education. I'm REALLY glad that's over. I'm currently working as a special education teacher with students in grades 7-9 who have language based learning disabilities. I LOVE my job! Graduate school definitely sucked the life out of me but I'm going back in fall 2010 for my EdD in special education administration. I suppose I'm just a glutton for punishment. I live for the weekends and vacations at this point! Love the beach, dancing, and shopping. Spend way too much time on my blackberry. Love all types of music--some may consider me a "music snob" but I simply have good taste. I *heart* foreign films, especially with subtitles. Love going out for sushi and Indian food. I'm very open-minded and I will try most things once. Reading is sexy; I would rather read a book than watch tv. I own far too many pairs of shoes. On occasion, I will paint my nails to match my mood. I've been told that I tend to be very confusing to the opposite sex; they think they have me figured out and I end up surprising them. When I get bored, I'll either dye my hair or pierce something. I have some pretty crazy times with my friends. I am very fortunate to be surrounded by so many positive people. <3 :-)

A 93-year-old man drove his car into the entrance of a Wal-Mart in Danvers today, injuring a mother and the one-year-old baby girl she was pushing in a stroller. A preliminary investigation suggested the driver had stepped on the gas when he meant to step on the brake, police said.

I am doing well. Dave and I went to go see fireworks lastnight. They were pretty good. Nothing exciting really happened over th weekend. That was the highlight of it.
