I also have an aversion to some country - mostly from the lady singers, I think - tho the Dixie Chicks amuse me...

I REALLY LIKE: Footloose, Flashdance, John Travolta's 'dance' movies, Lost In Translation, most Disney movies (the ones I don't are generally the sequels - Lady & the Tramp 2 and the like... Let's get real here), Adam Sandler's comedies (specifically Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates)
MOVIES YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST SEE: ***Garden State***, LOTR-all three, Monster, Mystic River, 50 First Dates for a good giggle about a walrus ;), umm....
