| General | People, animals...especially my buddy, Tiger Lily...writing..good books, good movies, walks anywhere in my Pioneer Valley....and of course exchanging thoughts and ideas with friends. | | Music | The music of the 5o's, the music of Simon & Garfunkel, anything by Neil Diamond, especially "Sweet Caroline", "Cracklin Rosie", Carlie Simon..."Where the River Flows" many, many otheers especially anything danceable.... | | Movies | Gone With the Wind...Dr. Zhivago...The Way We Were, and many more... | | Television | All In the Family, Dallas, Discovery, Nat'l Geographic, Biography | | Books | So many i don't know where to begin...since i was old enough to really read...i most always have a book on the go.... | | Heroes | My husband, Owen J. McGrath, who actually was a decorated war hero in the 2nd World War...he was in the British Royal Navy for 6 years. and so many wonderful women...to all those women born before sanitary pads...i salute you!!! The new Speaker of the House, i think her name is Nancy, she raised 5 children in 6 yrs. Well, that's great but Nancy i did the same and my husband died when i was 41 and the girls were teens, and i didn't have anywhere near the financial status you did nor did i have any family to rely on...some friends to confide in but very few...it seems when you become singles, acquaintancs dwindle off. |

About me:
I am a mother of 5 beautiful daughters, grandmother of 12, 4 boys and 8 girls and.....great-grandmother of 5, 2 boys & 3 girls.....i am the "QUEEN MOTHER", an only child who created her own family...very successfully i might add!!!They are the BEST!!!! They are my extaordinary contribution to society and to know them is to love them. This is supposed to be about me...well, they are me!!
