my name is jay ... i'm pretty easy goin (prob due to smoking too much over my life!) with a bit of a melencholy streak. i love my music though and usually up for goin to parties/clubs/raves (though not as much as i used to be - getting old!) ... i dj drum n' bass (not 'mazin yet but gettin there!) so most of my money goes in vinyl.... generally jus like tryin' to take my mind off the darker side of life! guess that's the same reason i love reading - pure escapism!

man.. i jus tried mixing with my macbook and a deck. i think my mixer is terminal man cause i got no sound coming out of either the headphones or the speakers.
volume is on, i know the mac output works and i know the headphones work. the mixer is set to line as opposed to phono and the cables are in right. any ideas?
