we seem to want what we dont have within, we dont know where to search or where to begin
our eyes are always open to what others lack, we dont look within were always looking back
we live this lie yah you whos reading this, we continue to overlook the subtle answers so we miss
we say someone has this or doesnt have that, say some are ugly and others are fat
we are always searching trying to achive it all, yet we never have enough even when things are on the ball
more money more power more attention more fame, keeping up with the jones is driving u insane
looking for that perfect someone to fit the bill, always an excuse u always end what might be real
money doesnt buy love and looks fade away, the day when it's gone will u be ok?
no one seems to put the effort to make it work, always pointing the finger who's truly the jerk
well there is three pointing back right in ur face, yet ur willing to settle an feel emptyness in someones embrace
