I can learn from the famous heroes; but I have my own personal heroes in my life. She was a visionary and a woman way ahead of her time... it is an honor that I am named after her.. She shines upon me daily .
My Mother...A person who in the past few days, I have come to understand and bond with. I now can feel your pain and can move forward honoring whom you are and what you are about.
My cousin Marcia,Whom has gone through so much pain in the past 2 years and sill has a smile that brights up a room. She teaches me daily through her mother that shines upon her, minha tia Jo.
My mother in law Mary, an artist who is now a shining star who guides us when the skys get dark. She has left us but her presence and love is always in my heart.
New Heroes... my daughters Axie and Becca for accepting the constant changes in our lives and for adjusting to the impossible.

I am always me...everyday of my life.
It is my goal to be like my two favorite flowers....
the first one, the Lotus Flower:
The pure lotus flower, the only plant to fruit and flower simultaneously, emerges from the depths of the muddy swamp. Growing from the mud at the bottom of ponds and streams, the exquisite Lotus flower rises above the water.
It is a symbol of the sun, of creation and rebirth. Because at night the flower closes and sinks underwater, at dawn it rises and opens again.
The second one is the sunflower. Much like me it comes from South American but has adpated to live anywhere in the world. It is colorful,full of life and spreads its joy, color and life everywhere it is planted. It requires little water and care to survive.
You can search the whole universe and not find a single being more worthy of love than yourself.Since each and every person is so precious to themselves,Let the self-respecting harm no other being.- Buddha
