Well obviously I'm kinda labeled as the movie guy, friday night is a staple. But there's way more to me than that. I'm a cultural sponge I admit it. I like to go out ,though not to dance, I dance like a mentally challenged kid who's just been handed a sparkler. I need a teacher for that. But I like to meet new people and make'em laugh for a little while and see what happens. I also travel, spontaneously, and usually to NYC if something sparks my interest.
Music
Weezer, white stripes, dave matthews band, green day, pink floyd, led zeppelin, steve miller band, hendrix, postal service, 2 skinnee j's, sublime, korn, 311
I know I'm probably forgeting a load of bands and such but I'm not gonna go through my ipod to grab them all. I love live shows, concerts are the best. Unfortunately CT isn't the best place for shows so I do a lot of road trips with my friends. I've seen Dave matthews too many times to count and 2 skinnee j's even more than that.
Movies
I have a TON of favorites way too many to list.
Television
Family Guy, Simpsons, Sealab 2021, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Futurama, 24, South Park, King of the Hill, Seinfeld
Books
Cannery Row, sweet tuesday, fight club, choke, invisible monsters, ok anything written by John Steinbeck or Chuck Palahniuk I'm not gonna friggin' list them all. Any Hideshi Hino stuff. A peoples history of the U.S. , Hitchhikers Guide, New York Trilogy, All Hunter Thompson books. Noam Chomsky too. Alan Moore is a definite plus as is Robert Kirkman. George Orwell knew what was coming. And even if he is pretentious add on Michael Moore.
Heroes
My Parents and Grandparents of course (yes this includes you Dennis , don't get paranoid on me), George Romero, Eli Roth, John Carpenter, Hunter Thompson, Evan Dorkin, Bill Hicks, Spider Jerusalem, Takashi Miike, Lloyd Kaufman, Banksy, Noam Chomsky, Larry Fessenden
About me: Here goes:
First off I'm Rob. Rob Reilly. Never Bob sure as hell not Robby, thats reserved for the grandparents. I am a hands down movie geek. I have a to do pile of movies and books. I'm referred to as "Movie Jesus" by my friend Chris, so that pretty much tells all. I love horror movies and would love to make one or find people who also want to make one. I love books especially when they involve the names Thompson, Steinbeck, or Palahniuk. My musical tastes are all over the map, I like it all, except opera , you go to hell opera. I also like comics and videogames but I somehow manage not to be a total anti-social nerd. Come check me check out and see.

Who I'd like to meet: Hmmmm. Someone with a glimmer of intelligence in their eyes. Someone who knows the difference between there and their and they're. Preferably someone who doesn't mind me trying (and often failing) to cook odd things. Or a woman who really likes horror movies (are you out there?) Someone who doesn't say they don't want to see a subtitled movie because they don't want to have to read. And finally someone who can laugh at themselves.
If you fit that decription you can now say hi.

oh part one!!!! i haven't even seen part 2 but would love to read the cool poem - i saw it somewhere referred to in part one - maybe the credits or the opening...what a great flick!
Well Robert if you would like to know, I usually prefer large hairy men, but since the Greeks started the Olympics, I can like whatever I want. May I remmind you the Phelps is 6'4", so he does have one thing going. If the government wants to steal a baby and train her to be an Olympian when she's 13, well I can't stop them. Looks like no one can. Other than that, how's everything with you?
