Not suprisingly most of my heroes are musicians. Slash, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Santana (alot of em have an S in their name... weird) James Hetfield, Kirk Hammet, Paul Gilbert and so many others. They are heroes as much as influences to the way i play. Ritchie BLackmore was the first guitarist i ever really recognised but it was Slash who inspired me to pick up a guitar. Steve Vai and Joe Satriani INspired me to push my playing and Vai in particular affected my outlook on guitar playing and life in general. Paul Gilbert is a great inspiration because despite all his years of playing even now you can tell he lives and breathes guitar and is still excited by playing no matter how dull it may seem. SRV and Santana are heroes simply because they understand the importance of playing with heart. Outside of music i have a lot of respect for The late Bruce Lee i discovered him at a time where i was pretty all over the place his philospohies and observations helped me through some tough times in my life.
