Costuming, documentary arts, documentary photography,
documentary audio editing, traveling, working with most art mediums, informing my self about the world around me, environmental science, politics, cool little kids, and an overall interest in human beings... their histories, interests and the ways they interact; in other words, I like people watching.
Music
This is a hard question for me, since I can not describe why I like some types of music and not others. I love a lot of experimental music, but when the experimental music loses any thread of beat or melody I lose interest. I love good dance music even if it has lyrics that make my cringe. Most recently I have found I really like foreign hip-hop, because
Movies
I use movies as a temporary break from my life, and a chance to stop thinking of every think that is overwhelming me in my daily life. I have no interest in horror movies or really emotional movies. I prefer a good comedy or an upbeat drama. here are some of the movies I own. Benny and Joon my favorite movie in 7th grade and still a favorite, Pride and Prejudice the six-tape version, Wallace & Gromit, Edward Scissorhands, Sperited Away, Monsters Inc., Frida, and Kill Bill.
Television
When it comes right down to it, TV is the drug that I am most vulnerable to, which is the reason I don't have any TV reception in my current home(infect I did not have a TV an till I was 14 ). But, when I do watch, I like a wide range of shows. I also find myself watching CSI inspired criminal investigation shows.
Books
I love escaping into another world contained within a good book. Examples: everything from Jane Austen to Harry Potter, Narnia and the Oz books (the books that followed the Wizard of Oz). I also love books that enlighten me about the world that surrounds me. such as Mountains Beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder, Gaviotas a Village to Reinvent the World by Alan Weisman, and Hope Human and Wild by Bill McKibben. I am currently trying to read the Botany of Desire by Michael Pollan and Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim by David Sedaris.
About me: The top five things that have formed how I am today (in no particular order) [1] growing up in a incredibly creative environment and therefore feeling as if it is necessary that I be a creative person. [2] Being extremely Dyslexic, which explains the bad spelling and grammar (Please excuse it). If you are wondering if that means I see everything backwards and mixed up the answer is NO. I have a different kind of dyslexia which is hard to explain but means I read very slowly and have a hard time comprehending when I am reading. I have a hard time spelling and punctuating because I don't easily reread what I write.[3] my dad dying when I was little.[4] growing up with a unnaturally strong community around me, which helped with my dad's death, but means I expect communities to be a amazing now as they were when I was growing up. [5] living my life betwen Placitas, NM /Santa Fe New Mexico and New England.

What I am doing now in my life: I am in the years after college graduation which are very awkward. I have no idea as to what I am doing with my life, but feeling as if I need to have already figured it out. I also feel as if I can not stay where I am. I know I need to move forward, but it is not clear ware forward is.
