I'm pretty easy going. I laugh a lot. I think I have a pretty decent sense of humor. It takes a lot to piss me off. I try to get along with everyone. I try to stay positive. I believe in Christ and have accepted Him as my Savior. All that is good in me comes from Him. I'm artistic. I have an eye for details. Sometimes that gets me in trouble. People tend to think I'm a goody-twoshoes. I like it out in left field. This is only my myspace page, a glimpse of who I am. I'm a small town big city guy. I love my heritage. I tend to think about things a lot. I think drama can be avoided if a total effort is made to be honest with yourself and others. I believe that life is 10% situation and 90% your attitude in that situation. I like being outside at night when the stars are out. I love funny commercials. I'm a night owl. Working out makes me feel better. Lastly, I think if you're still here after possibly reading my entire page you deserve a gold star because you're certainly most triumphant. >And yes, my mind really is this random on a regular basis.<--- (humor with sarcastic undertone....mmm, yum.) Have yourself a jolly good day.

They say that love is all you need to heal your wounds.
Don't be consumed by the everyday evils the man do.
It’s just one of those moments that feels too good to be true.
When I look in your eyes are you feeling love too?
No fear, no worry, no doubt, no concern.
Just the brightest light and let it burn.
I said, "Damn it feels good to hold your hand."
Love’s the simplest thing and now I start to understand.
It aint at all complicated.
I’m glad I found ya.
It’s when you open your heart that love surrounds ya. - G Love
People are unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;
Love them anyway.
If you do good, people may accuse you of selfish motives;
Do good anyway.
If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
Honesty and transparency make you vunerable;
Be honest and transparent anyway.
What you spend years building could be destroyed overnight;
Build anyway.
People need help, but may attack you if you try to help them.
Help them anyway.
In the final analysis, it is between you and God.
It was never between you and them anyway. -Mother Teresa
"To reach out with Your hands, to learn through Your eyes, to love with the love of a savior, to feel with Your heart, and to think with Your mind." - Casting Crowns

"Man's way leads to a hopeless end. God's way leads to an endless hope."

"He stands fast as your rock, steadfast as your safeguard, sleepless as your watcher, valiant as your champion." - C.H. Spurgeon
"He climbs highest who helps another up." - Zig Ziglar
"So hard to fathom - the pain in Your eyes.
As You're watching Your children, doing what You despise.
In pursuit of our own.
We just go round and round.
Another nail to our cause.
We continue to pound.
What are you, man, if you do not learn love?
So hard to fathom, oh, the feelings inside.
As You're watching Your people choosing to die.
You called out a warning.
To all that would hear.
Saying, "Come to Me, come to Me
and I will draw near."
Learn Love.
We must learn love.
What are you, man, if you don't learn love? Simply Nothing." - Shawn Mcdonald
"Walk this world alone try to stay on my feet,
Sometimes crawl, fall, but I stand up cause I'm afraid to sleep. Open my eyes to a new day, with all new problems and all new pain. All the faces are filled with so much anger, losing our dignity and hope from fear of danger.
After all the wars, after settling the scores, at the break of dawn we will be deaf to the answers.
There's so much bigotry, misunderstanding and fear.
With eyes squinted and fists clinched we reach out for what is dear. We want it we want. We want a reason to live. We're on a pilgrimage, a crusade for hope.
In our hearts and minds and souls we know we need it, we need more than this. So many nations with so many hungry people. So many homeless scrounging around for dirty needles. On the rise, teen suicide, when we will realize
we've been desensitized by the lies of the world?
We're oppressed and impressed by the greedy,
whose hands squeeze the life out of the needy.
When will we learn that wars, threats, and regrets are the cause and effect of living in fear? Who can help protect the innocence of our children? Stolen on the internet with images they can't forget. We represent a generation that wants to turn back a nation. To let love be our light and salvation. We need it, We need more than this.
I became a savior to some kids I'll never meet,
Sent a check in the mail to buy them something to eat.
What will you do to make a difference, to make a change?
What will you do to help someone along the way?
Just a touch, a smile as you turn the other cheek.
Pray for your enemies, humble yourself, love's staring back at me. In the midst of the most painful faces,
angels show up in the strangest of places." - Skillet
OUR DEEPEST FEAR
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, handsome, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us.
It is not just in some; it is in everyone.
And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give
other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear,
our presence automatically liberates others." - Marianne Williamson
"Man will occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of the time he will pick himself up and continue on." -Churchill
"And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." - Abe Lincoln
"The probability that we may fail in the struggle ought not to deter us from the support of a cause we believe to be just." - Abe Lincoln
"Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth." - Thoreau
*Change Your Thinking *
It will take just 37 seconds to read the following and change your thinking:
Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room.
One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs.
His bed was next to the room's only window.
The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.
The men talked for hours on end.
They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation..
Every afternoon, when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.
The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.
The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake.
Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.
As the man by the window described all this in exquisite details, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine this picturesque scene.
One warm afternoon, the man by the window described a parade passing by.
Although the other man could not hear the band - he could see it in his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.
Days, weeks and months passed.
One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep.
She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.
As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.
Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window besides the bed.
It faced a blank wall.
The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window.
The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.
She said, 'Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you.'
Epilogue: There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations. Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled.
If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can't buy. Today is a gift, that is why it is called, "The Present."
