Andy enjoys making his own beer as well as his own wine. He is really good at it and enjoys it so much that is has kind of become my hobby as well by default (allthough I only get to be the brew master's assistant). We always enjoy eating good food and trying new things. I enjoy Pin Up art and Religious art. I like going to museums and plays/operas/musicals when I have the money. I collect children's books and elephants. I think that the happiest place on earth is Disneyland. I am also learning, by way of default (again), to enjoy soccer (sort of). Oh, and I love to travel, I have been truly blessed to be able to travel to many places allready in my life, and I hope to see many more before I leave this planet. I like it when I meet people with whom I can have an intellectual converstation about religion/ beliefs, literature, philosphy or history. I like going out to brew pubs or out dancing (when I am not pregnant). I am also happy hanging out at home watching trashy reality TV or reading a good book.

No, I am not able to kill my television... I watch Heroes, Lost, Big Love, Amazing Race, Ugly Betty and Intervention.

I am a voracious reader... I like all styles of literature but am especially fond of historical fiction and classic literature. Edith Wharton, Margret Atwood, Margret George and Thomas Hardy are some of my favorite authors.

About me: My name is Heather and I live in Fairfield with my husband Andy and our little boy Desmond. I was born and raised in Fairfield, escaped for a time to get my degree in child development from Humboldt State, but have somehow found myself back in this place again. I guess Thomas Wolfe was wrong. I have a pet tortoise named Isadora and fish named Dojo Loach and Othello II (a black moor). We have a dog named Peanut who is some sort of terrier... and two cats, Pepper (was born with no tail) and Rascal. I work in the field of early intervention as a child development specialist working with children with special needs birth to three and their families and I love it. I am almost done with school FOREVER (sort of) and can hardly wait to stop giving SacHell State all my money.
