Elizabeth	Mar 5 2008 6:42 AM I most def consider myself pro-choice. Completely and have considered myself pro-choice since I was in about 1st grade when I really learned what it meant. Hm Feminist perspective I dunno which I would really say I fall under. I mean politics is my fucking life in every way, shape and form. and I do advocate for like LGBTQ issues alot lobbying wise in the state legislature but i wouldnt like consider myself a lesbian feminist in the man hating type way. Just I dunno a feminist. I believe women aren't being treated equal because of our sex and we deserve to be treated the exact same way men are treated if we are doing the same thing they are doing. I think all the different labels and perspectives of feminism are stupid like unless your not 100% pro-choice then your just plain and simple a feminist. And by pro-choice I mean for a womens right to choose...even if you think maybe you couldnt make that choice but you think it is every womens right to make her own choice on what she does with her body then that would be what would be pro-choice... Im really into reproductive justice though. The issues low income and women of color face with the pro-choice stance... Like with my job, We lobby legislature on pro-choice issues...Currently we've been doing alot of work on Emergency contraception access in WA state. We called every pharmacy in the state and found out over 10% of pharmacies either refuse to dispense or do not stock Plan B...so from that we are trying to make it illegal for that to happen and also make sure they women on medicaid (this is where repro justice comes in) know that medicaid will cover plan b and so forth.
