About me:
Hui Neng once wrote “If we direct our mind to dwell upon purity we are only creating another delusion, the delusion of purity”. Isn’t that wonderful? Another way out is left farce. I want out. I want out of illusion. I want out of the peaks and troughs that make up existence. I want out of hate desire competition struggle vice pity etiquette sense non-sense lust taste society scent and search. I want out of want.
This aspiration is not just conflicting emotions. It arises from detachment and is thus the opposite. Attachment is blinding. It narrows the mind from the holistic truth. Neutrality would be so splendid. To be neither for nor against. Narrow down the peaks and troughs to a flat-line. So good. If I can get out I promise I’ll be good!
Who’s your favorite sith? Mine is Darth Maul. Silent and obedient. Cheerful I would be if I could act as a tool. An empty vessel to be directed by my master. Bereft of an agenda to better follow the agenda. It has come to my understanding that the movements of Tai Chi are the movements of the universe. This is my end my agenda my scheme. Move not for Jeffrey, move for something more. I understand that I can achieve unity this way. A little disengagement from the distracting physical surrounding. I understand eventually time and space are no longer relevant to a tai chi player.
What is significant to Jeff? Yes. No. Yes. No. Consider this. Consider the difference betwixt the one and the many. The difference is there is only one one and many others. What is the first step?
