I love going to movies by myself.

Deadwood. Arrested Development, and any new and undiscovered brilliantly twisted British comedy that comes along. I'm addicted to NPR, on the wireless!

any book on Berlin and Cold War architecture, 'History' by Else Morante, Kafka in German, Steve Martin's books, Polaroids by Walker Evans, any William Eggleston book, Stephen Shore, Murakami, Rem Koolhaas SMLXL, Peanuts Treasury Series, Joe Sacco, any Ed Ruscha book, I tend to read a lot of magazines, the Believer, Harpers, Vanity Fair, New Yorker, whatever music mags I get my hands on...just read Kitchen Confidential, and now am on a Paul Auster kick. bought a book by a guy called Junot Diaz because I liked his name.
