CAC FITNESS TRAINING's Interests
|
| General | Why use a Stability Ball? Improve the function of neutralizer and stabilizer muscles. Neutralizer muscles counteract the actions of prime mover muscles to coordinate smooth movement patterns. Stabilizer muscles surround and support joints. Result: Improved joint stabilization thus decreasing the chance of injury, plus optimal nervous system training. Improve posture by strengthening the stabilizer musculature of the spine.
Result: Your body will function more efficiently, with less stress on your joints. Improve balance and agility by destabilizing the training environment. Result: Enhanced sports performance and everyday function. With your newly improved nervous system you will have increased stability in your work, home and sports environments.
Increase core strength and development. Training on a Stability Ball requires constant recruitment from the core complex, unlike machine training where you are stabilized by the equipment and work predominately the prime movers. Since all movements begin from the core it is essential to have a strong and well coordinated core complex. Result: Improved function and ability to access more power from the extremities.
Develop strength in all planes of movement (sagittal, transverse and frontal), as opposed to machine training that strengthens mainly in the sagittal plane. Most injuries occur in the transverse or frontal planes which is a sign that we should be developing more strength in these planes instead of avoiding them. Result: Improved functional strength, decreasing the chance of injury.
Challenge your nervous system. Result: Improved transfer of strength and power to work in a sports environment. Expand your motor vocabulary and improve movement skill.
Who should use a Stability Ball? Everyone can benefit from using a Stability Ball. Children, Bodybuilders, Regular Exercisers, Pregnant Women and Mothers, Non-Athletes, Elderly, Elite Athletes, Back Pain Patients and all those who perform their work sitting.

CAC FITNESS TRAINING's Blurbs |
About me:
Christopher Ahuja began studying human movement his second year of college. While attending Riverside Community College he began experimenting with different forms of training. Working out hour long, week long training sessions, he became aware of the physical effects exercise had on his body.
Christopher would soon pass through Riverside Community College to Tempe, AZ, where he studied Exercise Science at Arizona State University. It was in Tempe where Christopher began to train his fellow students in various forms of fitness training. He took a keen interest in developing students for their specific sport, whether it was for intramural or schloraship levels.
Christopher soon moved from Tempe, AZ to his hometown in Southern California where he completed his Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology, his concentration in Exercise Science. It was at California State University, San Bernardino where Christopher honed his craft of Kinesiology. He began to work with his professors performing graded exercise tests, assessing cardiorespiratory fitness levels in college students. He also performed lactate and bone density tests, and hydrostatic weighing for olympic athletes competing in the Athen's 2004 summer games.
Christopher Ahuja is proud to announce the opening of CAC Fitness Training. Christopher is currently completing the highest national fitness certification available; NASM Performance Enchancement Specialist. Through NASM PES, Christopher will further enchance his knowledge in integrated mult-planar training. This means that his clents' workouts will become more exciting! His training and knowledge in the field of human movement has allowed him the opportunity to work with great people, changing people's mindset about what health and fitness are all about. A Core Fitness Specialist (CFS), Christopher has taught his clients that it isn't about training body parts, but body movements. The core is the foundation of movment, and thats where we start!
