My first and foremost interest is my family and friends. I consider many of my friends and their kids family since we are all so close. I love kids and spend most of my time with my kids and my neices and nephews. I love em all!!! My interests vary day by day, it's very hard to keep my interest in any one thing for too long. I do however love music, I love to read, and I can occasionally get into video games.
I listen to everything from Korn to Taylor Swift, not really too picky, just like to hear what suits the mood.
Movies
I watch alot of different kinds of movies, I am not really big into like freaky ass people slaying kinds of movies but I will watch them occasionally.
I am pretty much laid back and will watch whatever is on. I like to watch chick flicks most the time, but I am into crime drama and detective kinds of movies. Favorite movie of all time, tho, it's weird but I love LADY AND THE TRAMP. Disney is the shit.
Television
I LOVE TV... Just an all around tv buff, I like mostly home improvement shows, crime dramas (law and order, csi, bones, etc...) and also doctor type shows that show surgeries, like Trauma in the Er, that kind of thing. Gross but cool. Days of our lives, that is my soap. Ok, that is about it, I like those kinds of shows but with three kids, I end up watching Blue's Clues and Dora the Explorer.
OK I LOVE FAMILY GUY, AND IM NOT ASHAMED TO SAY IT!!! Stewie is the cutest baby ever, and you know everything that he's is how real babies think and feel, right?
Books
I am not really reading any one type of book right now. I have read tons of books in the past few weeks, with nothing else to do, I find what I can to keep myself busy. Right now I am reading a Nora Roberts series of short stories that she wrote with a couple of other authors that write common kinds of stories. They are really good! I have the whole set, thanks to my sister and I have read two out of the three so far. I think the next books for me to read are the Vampire Chronicles cuz i got the whole set of those too. Also, I like VC Andrews, and Anne Rice, I love true crime stories (my mom got me hooked) and also fictional mysteries where the killer is always caught. Good stuff.
Heroes
I would have to say that my heroes include my grandmother, and my kids. My grandmother is the one person in my life whom I can always count on, even if it is only emotional support. I think all people should be themselves and never let anyone tell them what they should be. I think that being genuine will make u a better person in the end.
Hello everyone, I guess I should tell you all a little bit about me. I am Amanda Cottrell, and recently got married to William Cottrell, he's like the best friend that anyone could ever ask for. We are the proud parents of 12 children, three of whom live with us full time, and the rest are here as often as we can arrange. We have Portia (20) William III (16) Ashleigh (12) Emilee (11) Tavin (11) Brooke (9) Duane (7) Kamdyn (6) Kayleigh and Totteeonna (4) Noah (3) and Tucker (2). I am very proud parent and love all of my children, they are our lives and I would do anything we had to so that we can ensure thier happiness.
We are the proud parents of many foster kids, including Lizz and Justin Rood and Lizz's little sister Kodie. We have taken them into our family and love them, and thier children like they are truly related. Lizz and Justin have three beautiful lil girls that are the light of my life, Ashlynne just turned 5, Isabella is almost 3 and Patricia is almost 1. We truly dont get to spend as much time with them as we would like, but the family ties are close and we are always glad to hear from them.
I am especially close to my sister Becky and her children, I have helped her to raise her the younger children, and we have recently found my oldest neice, Kay, and we are all feeling like our family is complete now that she is a part of it. Kay is 19, and a college student going for her degree in art or something artistic like that. She is an amazing artist and can draw anime like a pro. Kimberly (17) is engaged to a wonderful man, Donald, and they have a beautiful daughter who came into the world in January. Her name is Alexis and she is the light of my life. I wish i could spend more time with her and get to know her. Kenny is like a son to me and he has a lil one also. Kira is a year and half and she is awesome and sweet and loves her nana. William is my lil emo nephew and he is a good photographer. I wish he would go into it, he would make a wonderful person to take photos of kids since he can always make them smile.
Who I'd like to meet: I would like to meet friends who are willing to be real friends, and not the kind I am used to. No backstabbers or druggies, no alcoholics or idiots. I would like to meet anyone that shares the same interests as me. I would love to meet some famous people as well, but most of them are long gone now. Dimebag Darrell and Freddie Mercury are a couple.
