| General | Who settled South Carolina? Well thats my easiest question of all. It was Sir Robert Heath. Why you ask? Because he and they other colonist wanted money, land, Religion, to get away from the fires, Plagues, and the Head Right System. What it was, was a way to get away from King Charles or to help King Charles. Everyone wanted a bite out of the new world. It was during the 1500's when they first started to immigrate. But South Carolina wasn't founded untill 1929. It was at the New World also known as the United States, one of the 13 original colonies.
The Fundamental Constitution of Carolina was written by John Locke. It's purpose was to serve religious freedom to the colonist. It was important the new settlers to South Carolina. An example is the Hughonoghts. | | Heroes | Sir Robert Heath because he made me!!! |

About me:
I am a b-e-a-utiful colony. I reach from the Alantic to the Pacific Ocean. I have lots of indian friends and new colonist. I am great for farming corn, cotton, and rice. PLUS I do not have fires as across the seas do. Anyone who comes over will be granted 50 acres. Florida is owend by the spanish, so that is great trade. I have LOTS of rivers and beaches. Charles Town is a beautiful town. Owend be King Charles, of course. We would love for you to come and get away from fires and the Black Plague!!
