Saw the dread pictures. Loved them! I'd be too scared to get dreads, it'd take me forever to undo them when I got tired of them, and I wouldn't wanna cut my hair.

mielle came in the other day. she said she remembered you and me. then she bought a wind up mouse with her allowance money (one dollar a week) and i gave her a sheet of calico critter stickers as a little present and then she said she was excited to start first grade. lenny says she likes to read alot and reads goodnight moon to lucien, who is HUGE and smiles alot. CUUUUUUTE but i got kinda misty eyed and had to go to the back...

theres this thing they have in like a week, its called Challenge Day. Basically 100 kids get picked to sit in a room and put on their own little "serendipity" like thing. im thinking about doing it. but i would be soooo shy.
