Snowboarding. I could live for that next turn, I really could. Surfing. Because it's a lot like life. I can't duck dive or turtle roll well so I get absolutely demolished when paddling out. It's worth it for the peace beyond the break; but then you see something that you can catch, that you think that you can catch, that you give all for. And sometimes you catch it and have an amazing ride, sometimes it passes you by. Either way, you still have to paddle out past the break. Running. Because sweat can purify the mind. Laughter. It's like carrying sunshine around in your belly. Basketball and punk shows. Everyone needs a healthy outlet for aggression. Disasters. Because it's beautiful when people work together to pick each other up. Dogs. They're models for living uninhibited lives. Family. Friends. Chocolate. All the good stuff. And artichokes. I love artichokes.

Just thought you might like to know who you're seeing on January 10th! And, if you don't like them... well, it's too bad!!! You already accepted my invitation. Mauwahahahahaha!
they have this new chocolate chip bread at the hospital starbucks that everyone is raving about... but to me it pales in comparison to the banana chocolate chip loaf my friend kelly made once, circa 2001...
isn't it wierd how i can't remember what i wore yesterday, and yet i can remember the taste of a treat from six years ago? my tastebuds are like elephants
I miss basketball so so much! I have been looking for a team to play on and have found absolutely nothing!!! Talk about severe withdrawls! However, yesterday was the first day i was able to get a desent workout and my ankle didn't hurt. Oh and you need to come visit so i have a hiking buddy! :)
