About me:

VOTE4PALOMA.COM PALOMA M. ANDRADE Says... A challenge for myself is, to leave a better world, full of compassion and justice, to better the environment and future for our children. A life challenge, is being able to have faith and believe in the things that you cannot see. Like impossible dreams or miracles. It is a challenge to accept people for who they are It is a challenge to be real, honest, and truthful and understand our uniqueness. It is a challenge to discover and better your real self, and don’t let anyone change your personality, dreams, freedom and style A challenge is to acquire, knowledge, understanding, intelligence, wisdom to conduct a well balanced life. Paloma I am a bilingual special education teacher, who is tired of seen abuses and injustices against our children. I am an activist who realized that in order to make changes and to better the condition of people, I had to be in the right position at the right time . I am a loving, friendly , humbled, educated woman, well qualify for the job. I made a strong decision to get myself involved into politics, when in the sanctuary of my home, got a gun shot through my window, no one knew who did it but I know my children could have gotten killed. I then decided to put on a suit and wear an American flag on the back to” become the change that I want to see in the world” and in the City of Chicago. On February of 2007 I ran independent, against the most powerful alderman and the most powerful man in the City of Chicago, the alderman of the 14th ward, Edward Burke. This man is also the chairman of the finances of the City of Chicago, whose brother is a state representative and his wife is a judge for the Supreme Court of Illinois. The Burke’s family has a dictatorship ruling for almost 60yrs. No one ever ran against him before me, his people call me a troubled maker and a radical; I am as radical as a mother can be !!! I am currently running for Circuit Court Clerk of Cook County the biggest county in the Nation. When I got myself into politics and after being intimidated, harassed, put down, life threatening, I realized that there is NO freedom in The United States of America, is nothing but a fairy tale. My rights as an American Citizen were violated in the land that I love the most!! Paloma
