Well, my main interes is music. I love anything that has to do with music. Whether its listening to music, playing music, dancing to music, i love it all! haha.
I have lots of fun hanging out with my buddies, especiallyt when i go back home for a weekend. =D
I enjoy going to new places and doing new stuff. Hopefully someday i can go skydiving, mountain climbing, and best of all, take a world tour!!
Music
Well, when it comes to radio-wise music, i'm open to all types and genres. I enjoy listening to classical, jazz, pop, and all types in general But of course, spanish music is my passion! I can't resist dancing to banda!! Cumbias, i'm getting there! and i just love everything else!!
But of course, my all time favorite kind of music is music from Oaxaca. I love that music - sones, jarabes, danzones, i love it all!
Movies
i love watching movies! but i get pretty behind on movies. though. there are soooo many movies that i want to see, but i never get to watch them. =( so yeah, a trip to the movies always makes me happy. and even just staying at home with some popcorn and a good movie makes my day - specially if its a Disney-Pixar movie. :)
Television
I don't have a tv in my dorm =( or at least not now. but i sure do watch Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, Private Practice, and all those good shows online! haha. And when im in front of a tv set, i get hooked watching Friends, CSI, and other shows. hehe.
And novelas, now that i DO watch!! I usually get hooked on the Univision ones that are on at night. Right now its "Fuego en la Sangre". I havent watched it in a while, but my sister keeps me updated. ;)
And of course, can't miss a good soccer game, especially Mexican soccer games. my team, of course, none other than Las Agilas del America!!!!!
Books
It's not rare that I pick up a book once in a while, but it's not often either. lol. Some of my best books, i must say are:
Tangerine, Monster, Go Ask Alice, Tuesday's with Morrie, Crime and Punishment, The Grapes of Wrath, The Cather in the Rye, Pride & Prejudice, Brave New World, The Giver, Ishmael, The Little Prince, and a few others.
Heroes
There is no denying that I have two all-time heores - my dad and my tio moy. :D Thanks to them, i am were i am right now and I am who i am. They have been the two ppl who have always been there for me, and who ALWAYS encourage me to keep going and to follow my dream - specially my dad. Thanks to them, i know what i love - music, i know who i am - JAY, and i know were i come from - OAXACA. And i have a promise to them that i will make reality, and very soon (i hope) =] I will always be eternally greatfull to them. Thank you dad, thank you tio.
And of course, there is my familia. My mom is also a great hero to me - both as a mom and as a woman. And my sister, i just simply love her. And there's many more.
Also, my teachers have been heroes too. Sometimes they're mean, but it's only because they care. And i thank them for not only being a teacher, but a friend and a parent.
And no, i havent forgoten, my buddies. Guys and Galz, You guys rock my sox!! =D
And of course, God. But God is not my hero, Gos is my everything.

Speaking of which, I'm a music major with the goal of getting a Master's in Music Education. But we'll see how that goes.
And yeah. I'm short - or like they say "fun size" haha! I can be shy at times, but when i get into my comfort space, oh boy. haha. I like to talk, a lot. So yeah, i can talk for HOURS about me and my life. haha. so let me know if you want to know about my life and stuff. lol.
Who I'd like to meet: Hmmmmm.... I like to meet people who are down to earth, easy to talk to, funny. i dunno. people who like to hear me talk. people who LOVE to dance!! haha. i dunno. just anyone. i like meeting people.

you know... I want to just sleep for like two days straight without waking up.... but then again no i would miss too many things... my sister just had her penthathlon competition! seeing her with the shirt and the name tag reminds me of when we went to compete and christian and the library and Brenda came near our history notes... aww! ='[ I miss those easy days!

last sunday we practiced them just by ear... but this sunday we used the papers ... it helped cuz by ear the dancers would get confused cuz we play it different to the papers... no its not a funebre marcha its more like "zoochila" or "feliz llegada" .... yeah aires zapotecos is pretty cool we havent practiced it in a while since we went to go play at gardena .... hopefully we play it this saturday
hehehe..... yeah we've been practicing this marcha that my tio moy wrote and la fantasia, aire zapotecos, and oh yeah los negritos cuz los del alto are going to do the dance for us on the 22nd... thats pretty much it =)
