I like any kind of indoor activity. Parties and clubs sometimes, but mostly I'm quiet. Love movie watching, reading, writing, really select good television - which is like rare. Besides that, I like to learn and grow and experience. Blah blah blah. It's hard to distill yourself into one of these little paragraphs.
Music
I'm so stuck in the 80s, but really it's all rap on top 40 now. So besides the 80s, I like Radiohead, Fiona Apple, Bright Eyes, Spoon, Death Cab for Cutie, The Killers, Nellie McKay, Jens Lekman and that ilk. The only dance divas I'll admit to are Madonna, Gwen, Cyndi and Kylie.
Movies
I'm a movie nut. I've seen just about everything from every era. Don't physically go to the movies as often as I like though. I guess my favorites are typical college brat type of movies: Donnie Darko, Ghost World, Go, Velvet Goldmine, Boogie Nights, Welcome to the Dollhouse, Rules of Attraction, Brazil, Carrie, Network, Harold and Maude, the John Hughes movies as my guilty pleasures... god, I've seen hundreds, I have too many to name...
Television
Currently airing: Lost, Heroes, Project Runway, America's Next Top Model, The Simpsons, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Pushing Daisies, So You Think You Can Dance, Weeds, Reno 911, The Daily Show, The Family Guy (sometimes), Battlestar Galactica, 30 Rock, The Tudors
Off the air, but on DVD: Twin Peaks, Buffy, Seinfeld, My So Called Life, Freaks and Geeks, Absolutely Fabulous, Extras, Arrested Development, Dead Like Me, Six Feet Under, Sex and the City, Stella
Also, total news junkie, so lots of that.
Books
I love books. I got my degree in English. I read at least two a week. My favorites are pretty typical though: Catcher in the Rye, Confederacy of Dunces, Less Than Zero and Glamorama, Invisible Monsters, Cats Cradle, etc. I can enjoy just about anything as long as it's not some ponderous history book. Essays are kind of my thing; I was interested in journalism in college. I really like David Sedaris and Augusten Burroughs, but I'm pretty all-over-the-map with what I read.
Heroes
I don't believe in heroes. Were I to become a writer, there's a few people I'd emulate. But I've never looked up to people for anything I can figure out on my own really. I'd listen to an astrophyicist because I have no opinions on the subject, but when somebody's lecturing on something subjective, I'm not exactly hanging off their every word. I was pretty contrary in college, even to professors I actually respected. Okay I'll name a few: Truman Capote, Andy Warhol, Tennessee Williams, Oscar Wilde but one wouldn't actually want to model one's life on any of these men.

About me: Let me see: I'm Sean. My life is a series of idle distractions trying to coalesce into something meaningful, if indeed anything is meaningful.
As for trivia: I have a degree in English, which I'm wasting. I'm an all around pop culture vulture, it's really my only vicarious salvation. I love the brash and opinionated, because opposites attract. I could do without the excessively vain or self-involved, those whose lives are summed up by mall brands, or anyone who would use the terms "straight acting" to describe themselves. I don't like paranoiacs and hypocrites. As a Rilke poem said, "I want to be with those who know secret things, or else alone."
Who I'd like to meet: I like interesting people, who are thoughtful, articulate, opinionated and not afraid to mingle with different sorts.
Why didnt you stock me then? You talking about loopt or Grindr? i have both lol. I like attention and now that i never go out i have to get it from sending penis messages to all the homos around. Go Team Dane
Hey sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Luckily the fires were on the other side of town. Doing good here. Haven't been on Myspace much lately. How are you doing?

I don't know if you saw the puppy pictures I had up. Anyway that was a very cute Siberian Husky. She was going to be mine but she died Tuesday night, she was a runt and just didn't make it... That's why I have been gloomy, She was the sweetest little puppy
Yes siting with your legs crossed is bad for your posture it said... It is a crazy rude trainer but I love it. I worked up a sweat last night doing virtual hula hoops as an aerobic exercise. it was crazy intense...
