Booking every kind of act imaginable, the QE2 was the center of the underground music and club scene in Albany, NY for over 13 years.
This space will be a forever growing collection of picture and live videos of bands playing at the QE2, as well as a place for everyone to tell their stories from their days at "The Q".
Hope everything is going well. Below is a recent video of Jesse having a good time. We lost power for a little while and he decided to make this hat out of Foil. LOL I hope you like it. See all videos at http://www.youtube.com/ncweb76 I also post recent videos to my blog on myspace.
Again thanks for being a friend and don't be a stranger.. :) Nick

Im miss you...Withstand, Stigmata, One King Down, Section 8, Cut Throat, Flat Broke...the list can go on for days...The QE2 was the CBGB for Albany/Troy hardcore of the 90's...and the scene was (and is now) strong as a result...
ahhh, the qe2. long live the queen. trag, stella and dave. to all the goths, hot skater boyz and random others who hung out there from 90-92, you will never be forgotten. thanks for turning me on to cop shoot cop.
Just wanted to let you know that Rocky Velvet will be appearing at Savannah's this Saturday night (5/3).
You may have already heard, Savannah's is under new ownership.
Bands now play earlier.
(8:30-11:30 PM) So make sure you're there at 8:30 sharp!
God, it's been so long. I miss the dirty bathrooms, the skeleton bat, the wolf, the Frank Miller paintings, the awful bar that was on the stage that Karen Crisis and the singer of Sam Black Church always hung off of. The shitty drinks(but it didn't matter because I wasn't old enough to drink but they let me anyway). I miss Tragedy as the Gatekeeper, and Stella and Wendy as our beautiful beer slingers, and the fact that you could always count on either Terrorcake or Withstand playing at least once a week(and we loved it). I miss being in the Web Of Threads fashion shows, I miss Michelle Web Of Threads, I miss the goth nights, the hardcore shows, the punk shows and the piss poor shitty shows. I miss the fucking QE2.
