I believe relationships are based on chemistry and
communication, not checklists and expectations. But, here are some of the
things that I want in a lover, not necessarily needs, but qualities that I
prefer:
Can you make me laugh, make me think? Can you challenge my mind and me your's?
Can you recover from a bad day if I just hold you tight in my arms and say
nothing?
I would hope that you have never watched an entire episode of Jerry Springer,
listen to NPR, love to read and write, will try anything once, and have the
capacity to love and be loved.
I am creative and imaginative, optimistic to a fault, enthusiastic, a good
listener who will look you in the eyes when we talk, spoil you with affection,
comfort you when you are down, and remain honest and trustworthy.
I enjoy camping, hiking, and canoeing, especially on the North Shore of Lake
Superior. I like to be active and outdoors such as inline skating and walking
though I am not a fitness nut.
I have been divorced for five years and my kids are grown, so I'm ready to
start a quality relationship with someone - maybe that someone is you.
