| General | Triathlon and Team In Training; books & movies, and of course my Tivo :); politics & government; law; music; photography. | | Music | Death Cab, The Shins, Fiona Apple, Incubus, Muse, Weezer, The Killers, Coldplay, No Doubt, Postal Service....and pretty much anything else I can sing to (yes, I am aware it doesn't sound good any poor schlub that happens to be listening, but I can't help it!). | | Movies | It's pretty rare that I see a movie I really like anymore. One of my favorites was Eternal Sunshine - I thought about this movie a lot. I mainly like older, 1990's classics like The Princess Bride or The Cutting Edge. Even better are movies that make me laugh, like Austin Powers (yes, all of them), Office Space, or Wedding Crashers, Zoolander, Old School (okay, pretty much anything with some sort of Ben Stiller/Owen Wilson/Vince Vaughn/Will Ferrell kind of combo!) | | Television | Gilmore Girls was my favotite and I am very sad it is over. I love Scrubs and 30 Rock, How I Met Your Mother, Lost, CSI, Without A Trace, My Boys, The Closer. I am kind of over Grey's Anatomy. I LOVE Project Runway, and enjoy ANTM, Top Chef, and American Idol. | | Books | Pride & Prejudice (well, pretty much any Jane Austen); The Time Traveler's Wife; The Angle of Repose; Little Women; Gideon's Trumpet; Harry Potter; Primary Colors; Middlesex; The Hot Zone...Pillars of the Earth (just kidding MJ!) I read a lot of mysteries too, anything with a good plot that keeps me thinking. |
