..I absolutely love my friends, which is hard because everyone has moved away; however, our friendship is too strong to let a little thing like distance come between us!! Besides friends and family, I am passionate about music (especially choir and singing), reading, school, Harry Potter!, the 49ers!!!, movies, Starbucks, the beach, and scrapbooking, and I love Disney!! Can't you tell?

..I love almost any kind of music. My favorite bands include Savage Garden, Matchbox 20, U2, ABBA, and the Killers. I am mostly into individual artists like Celine Dion, Jordin Sparks, Carrie Underwood, Mariah Carey, Josh Groban, Clay Aiken, Nick Lachey, Jessica Simpson, Kelly Clarkson, Lily Allen, Akon, Kimberley Locke, Jem, Alanis Morsette, Britney Spears (I know, embarrassing right?), Justin Timberlake, and Whitney Houston. I also love musicals like Phantom of the Opera, The Lion King, Wicked, Aida, and Mamma Mia.Movies
..LOVE Bridget Jones' Diary, Disney princess movies (especially Beauty and the Beast), American Beauty, Shawshanke Redemption, French Kiss, Chicago, X-Men 2, Shrek, Circle of Friends, Moulin Rouge, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Brokeback Mountain, Thank You for Smoking, Crash, Star Wars, and pretty much anything that is either funny, scary, serious, or just entertaining! ..My current TV viewing includes America's Next Top Model, Real World, Top Chef, The Hills, and survivor. I guess the one non-embarrassing show I watch is CSI and CSI: New York. I try and catch those or at least reruns. :)Books
I am a book fiend, so don't EVEN get me started. It basically comes down to books with great character development and a kick ass story line. I love getting to know characters, it is so fun. I have always loved to read; the first few books I remember getting hooked on as a little girl were Nancy Drew.favorite book: The entire Diana Gabaldon "Outlander" series and "The Secret Life of Bees" by Sue Monk Kid

About me:
I just finished my Master's degree in Communication at Fresno State. Go Bulldogs! Graduation is in May, finally! I now teach at Bakersfield College and I love it. My only complaint is I hope I wasn't as bratty as these kids are when I went to school, what is happening to today's college student? I love to teach communication, especially interpersonal, and I think I have one of the most fun jobs in the world. Who WOULDN'T want to talk about relationships and friendships all day? It really feels like I get paid to gossip!
I am also engaged to the greatest guy ever! May 30, 2009 better hurry up and get here! We're getting married at The Links at Riverlakes Ranch and I'm so excited to have my girls with me on my special day! Drinks for everyone!
