Movies
Film Contest? 9:04---good indies! Anything I am in I like, of course too! Ha-ha.
Lost and Delirios.
I haven't seen anything that I have liked all that much lately. I like Brat Pack movies, most '80s comedies. Seen Harry Potter several times, been watching I-Robot over an over. I like Will Smith, he is funny. I like most Sci-fi. I like to watch Milla Jovovich (spelling?) and love Fifth Element. I like the movie The Piano--very deep. I love Cruel Intentions, Valmont & Dangerous Liaisions. Sexy.
I mostly read magazines unless I am doing research or reviewing something. I like all fashion mags and love to go to the bookstore and pull them off the shelf. It's weird, I know. I have stacks and stacks of them by my bed. I liked Ayn Rand in the past and Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty books. ;)

About me: ..>Amazon.com Widgets..>ACTOR BIO --RACHEL GALVIN
Rachel Galvin has been an actress for the last 12 years and a professional writer for ten. She stared acting in Colorado, concentrating on theater, but soon moved to Los Angeles. There, while pursuing her dream, she worked at Universal Studios as a tram tour guide and worked for a talent management company called ESI KIDZ. It was also in Hollywood that she began her writing career, being given a chance by Breck White, the owner of Talent Magazine. It wasn’t until she moved to South Florida, however, that her skill in both careers was truly implemented, and her life blossomed.
Since moving here in 2000, this go-getter has been in over 20 films, some being shown at the local film festival. Instead of the long-term extra work she found herself doing in Los Angeles, here she found lead roles for almost every film. In addition, she became a professional freelance writer, working with over 20 local publications, including CitySmart Magazine (for which she became the editor for two years), Palm Beach Illustrated, Sun-Sentinel, Capture Life Magazine, Cultural Quarterly, Art of the Times and many others.
Right now, this type A Personality is working on a feature film called “Caped Crusaders,” in which she plays a superhero named Amazing Grace. She is gearing up to be in a short film about zombies in August. She just finished a short called “Intersect.”
Galvin also does marketing/ PR for two films: “Elixir” (which she was in) and “Work of Art” (a dark comedy). She is producing a web show, which will be aired in July, called “The Insight.” In addition, she has been asked to be a casting director/ talent scout for Beach Planet Productions.
She is happy to be a part of the Kore New Media team! For a full resume and more information, visit her website www.rachelgalvin.net.

Check out this clips of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers "Little Strong Man." This is some of my early extra work. I am shown during the following time codes (2:37-2:41 and 3:15 to 3:16) After the field and track segment and the little kid at the gym, you will see me clearly sitting at the counter drinking soda as credits roll and during the next ant exterminators sequence. Then as the two exterminators go to the other room, you suddenly see me quickly walking with another person in the background. This was either 1997 or early 1998. I was also in the crowd in the stands but I can't even see me. haha. It was excrutiatingly hot!
Okay, this one is the TV show "Ellen" and the episode is "Public Displays of Affection." (I am shown during the time codes 2:14-2:27,2:37 to 2:41 and 7:15-7:27). After Ellen and the little girl Holly are talking and Holly walks off upset, you can see me buying popcorn in a blue dress. After they go home (the exterior shots are on the sound stage) and there is a whole sequence inside, they go to the elevator and you can see me clearly in a white top and jeans standing behind Ellen. Ellen was hillarious. I didn't really get to talk to her but did talk to her girlfriend (Joely Fisher).
Halloween H20: I am in the very beginning of this clip (time code 09-15). I am running with the really long hair and red outfit toward the bus. There is another clip of me in the scene where Jaime Lee Curtis is talking about the field trip and you can see me for a long time next to the students but I can't find it on You Tube. I filmed this on my birthday that year. It was filmed in an old convent, very very creepy set. I hung out with the set decorator, who was painting gryphons. The P.A. was also very nice. Fun set to work on. Jaime Lee Curtis was nice and funny.
Check out my podcast on KoreNewMedia.com. You can now download the whole 3 hour episode or download one hour at a time. The third hour is an interview with me about my life as an actor (including my experience on Halloween H20, Power Rangers, The Practice, Babylon 5 and Night at the Roxbury, Caped Crusaders, among others.

Coolest video I think I have seen (at least in awhile. Of course I am partial to Madonna. When I first heard the song, I didn't like it because I felt she was being upstaged but then I saw the video. Now I cannot get enough. I love Justin too. He's a cutie. Madonna looks so damn hot. It's amazing. I love her wardrobe in this and the way she utilized the Bodies exhibit idea. The special effects are really interesting. I seriously have watched this video several times a day in a row for days now. hahah.
This is a rated R clip from my friend, Heath's movie "9:04." This is one of my fav. scenes. I used to be a goth girl but was much more verbal. Ha-ha. Ok, I am still a goth girl at heart.
Thanks for adding me as a friend! I hope you have had the chance to listen to my music and if you did you enjoyed enough to want to check out my newest CD 'Transient Passenger' now available @ iTunes.com/jacklicata

In life, we all have goals. Goals are what drive us, what push us forward, what give our lives purpose and meaning.
My main goal is to appear and perform my original poem, "Half Hearted," on The Ellen Degeneres Show. I've been working on this goal for 2 years, and I can't give up. If you would like to help, please visit www.RendaWriter.com and sign my online petition that I created to help me get the attention of the show's producers and get me on the show.
Most big goals are reached by setting smaller goals along the way. So my goal is to go from 587 signatures to 650 signatures by May 1st. I can do that easily with your support. Thanks for your support.
i've been totally killing my voice as well these days. Like every week over doing it/not doing it right. Not good Not good! I talked to a voice teacher and he said I should speak breathier to keep the vocal cords from banging into each other. So I'll focus on that when teaching, which seems to give me the most trouble. For voiceovers and the acting exercises I need to find another way.
