I love to cook, Good thing since thats how I earn my living. I like to garden, lots of flowers. I am a garage sale junkie and Thrift stores are about the only place I shop. I love my three doggies. Dina the Queen Mother, San Diego Shepard and her son Marcello. A bear in puppies clothing. Pure love. Then there is little baby Sabine. Only 3 months old and smart as a whip. Sabine started life as an albino and now she is a peachy caramel color with lots of freckles on her face and gigantic paws. I love to go camping to the mountain lakes and the beach too. I love to shoot craps at the casinos and can usually win back all the money my sweetie Igor blows. I like to read and have stacks of books everywhere waiting for the times when I can get them. I speak english and spanish and I am learning Russian. I like to travel to exotic places and have lived in Mexico, and Italy, Spain and Alaska. I have traveled to Central and South America, France, England and Germany. I love the good old USA too. I have seen every State except Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusettes. I plan to get to those four someday soon. I am just as comfortable in Brooklyn New York as I am in the jungles of Brazil.
I love my family and have instilled (I Hope) in each of my children a passion for life and all that it has to offer.

About me: I am a gypsy traveler, Mother of many, lover of all things colorful and real. I love my dogs and my Russian partner Igor. I like to cook and garden. I have traveled the world far and wide and I have lived most of the last 30 years in a log Cabin in Alaska. My family is precious to me and I am opptomistic that our great country will survive GW. I believe strongly in Thinking globally but acting locally. I am an advocate for anyone who is in need of a helping hand. I will give freely and gladly of my time and smiles to help my friends. I am the proud mother of four awesome young adults and friend to many more extended family, I have had the same bestus girlfriend for the last 41 years and I still love her and talk with her all the time. I am an old soul ramblin round these parts for a long long time. Im much better at conversation and touch than with electronics and cyberspace. I love to meet people from all over the world so lets hope you enter my firendlyspace.

July 7 Morning Verse "Brethren, pray for us." 1Thessalonians 5:25 This one morning in the year we reserved to refresh the reader's memory upon the subject of prayer for ministers, and we do most earnestly implore every Christian household to grant the fervent request of the text first uttered by an apostle and now repeated by us. Brethren, our work is Solemnly momentous, involving weal or woe to thousands; we treat with souls for God on eternal business, and our word is either a savour of life unto life, or of death unto death. A very heavy responsibility rests upon us, and it will be no small mercy if at the last we be found clear of the blood of all men. As officers in Christ's army, we are the especial mark of the enmity of men and devils; they watch for our halting, and labour to take us by the heels. Our sacred calling involves us in temptations from which you are exempt, above all it too often draws us away from our personal enjoyment of truth into a ministerial and official consideration of it. We meet with many knotty cases, and our wits are at a non plus; we observe very sad backslidings, and our hearts are wounded; we see millions perishing, and our spirits sink. We wish to profit you by our preaching; we desire to be blest to your children; we long to be useful both to saints and sinners; therefore, dear friends, intercede for us with our God. Miserable men are we if we miss the aid of your prayers, but happy are we if we live in your supplications. You do not look to us but to our Master for spiritual blessings, and yet how many times has He given those blessings through His ministers; ask then, again and again, that we may be the earthen vessels into which the Lord may put the treasure of the gospel. We, the whole company of missionaries, ministers, city missionaries, and students, do in the name of Jesus beseech you "Brethren, Pray for us."
