Television
IS PANTS - except for when the footie or The Sopranos is on
Books
Whatever I'm reading at the time, right now it's the Shane Macgowan, Johnny Cash and Ian Curtis biographies- can recommend all 3.
Heroes
The only heroes I had when heroes were relevant to me were Pat Nevin, David Speedie, Kerry Dixon, Mark E Smith and Paul Weller. Nowadays, my wife and parents deserve this accolade.
My name is Neil, by day I drive lorries, by night and at weekends I write and occasionally play drums. I recently filled in for the absent drummer in the latest incarnation of Vic Godard's Subway Sect for a gig in Manchester, and I'm an occassional reviewer for www.pennyblackmusic.co.uk
Johnny Cash, Nick Cave, Paul Weller, Neil Young, Madonna, Mark E Smith, Hank Williams, Carol Vorderman, Elvis, and people who live for their music and need a decent drummer.
