In the late summer of 2005, A Trail of Horror came into existence. Originally spawned from the minds of Bart and Cé, former members of Earection (RIP) and Time Out (RIP). They went looking for other musicians to fill in the gaps in the line up. Levy filled the drums spot flawlessly and after a while they settled on Sebbe to take care of the vocals.
Their search for a second guitarist ended with Robin, ex-member of Fuzzgun(RIP) and Reign of Terror (RIP). Not much later they decided to bring a new dimension to their sound by adding Stephane (ex – Youth Enrage(RIP)) to the line up as second vocalist. Later that year they hit the studio to record their first five track split demo with The End of All Reason. Due to some personal reasons, Sebbe decided to quit the band after having played some shows.
With more than a year’s experience and a shitload of new songs, A Trail of Horror decided to hit the sudio again to record their first 7 song, self-titled EP, which was first released without a label and when they signed to Dead Vibrations Industry in early 2008 they released it again under that label.
In the summer of 2008, Robin decided to leave the band to pursue a career as a graphic artist and the band was left with another gap in the line-up, which was almost immediately filled in by Gerry (former Dead Hours). The Line-up has held strong ever since.
A Trail Of Horror brings a unique and furious mix of modern death metal and hardcore, forcing you to bang your head violently or burst out in an uncontrollable frenzy in the pit. They’re always looking for more shows to play and more crowds to destroy so if you’re interested, book them right away. And last but not least, A Trail of Horror would like to add this “ We’d like to thank all of the fans, the people who book our shows and all of the bands we share the stage with, without you, we would still be playing in an empty garage.
