About me:
Other humans call me Marie. I am a member of a large family of smilers.
I was a nosebleed for awhile.
I'm all grown up and wearing a new pair of pumps. I have a BA in English, and I'm almost done with grad school. I'm the Senior Editor for a sustainable agriculture research program. It is my dream job.
I write and read about curious things. I make things with tools. I tend to my houseplants. I rokk out. My love is a drummer and a handyfixitdude. My friends are the force. I am literal.
My poetry is research. My research is everything.
I'm particularly fond of the local foods movement, robots, DIY projects, cooking, poetry, blast beats, gardening, fetishes, sustainability, sawdust, the FUNK, bourbon, and Pudding Pops.
