Here is a little known fact. Pat Morita, aka Mr. Miyagi actually invented the clapper. Ya know, “Clap-on, clap-off.” I personally hold this as one the greatest inventions of all man kind. I think he should have gotten the Nobel Peace Prize for this little gem. Hey if the inventor of dynamite can have a peace prize named after him, why not? Anyways, the story behind goes a little something like this. When Mr. Morita was memorizing the lines for the first “Karate Kid” movie he could never remember the “Wax on, wax off” part. The night before the scenes production he was scared shitless, so he took some sleeping pills so he could get a good night of rest. In his sleep he began to have a nightmare about blowing the scene and even though he was heavily sedated he woke up screaming “Wax on, Wax off,” but for some strange reason he clapped as well. He then got up and ran to the bathroom and in the process he stubbed his toe really hard. While he was rinsing his sweaty oriental face and cursing the dark night the thought about the clapper came to him. The rest is history. Incidentally he aced the scene, but if you watch it closely he actually is liming when he walks.
hmpf......... I was walking down the street when I realized I was being tailed by the Burger King King. He had that insipid look on his face, ya know the one, where he's trying to look stoic, but he has that slight stoner smirk. I try to lose him by ducking into a series of different stores and each time I think that I have lost him he reappears. I started becoming frantic, I really didn't know what to do, so I ducked into a porn shop. I went into the peep show booth and caught my breath. I had this great fear that as soon as I opened the door to leave he would be right there in my face, so I decided to put dollar in the peep show slot and when the dividing wall went up the King was there playing with his whopper. He said” It takes two hands’ to hold the Whopper,” I said “I know you couldn’t fit a pickle on that bun if you tired.” He replied”wana bet?” So he tried like the dickens to do so. I know that mayo does not come on most of the Burger Kings sandwiches, but there was mayo all over the place and he still had that look on his face, it was really disturbing. So, I went to the clerk of the porn shop and asked for my dollar back, then I says to myself geez that is a whopper of a tail.
