My family all have myspace and I did it to keep up with my nieces and nephews. I can't handle this so facebook would be too much.

Oh, had no idea it was closing. Shame.

That another aspirational and talented young american we're letting go?
  • Jul 22 2008 7:28 PM

It was good times. Really glad I made the effort to go.
Went to all the old spots as well; Ma's, hanon, Earl of Sandwich et al ;-)

The gig itself was excellent too. Quite a small crowd but that didn't take anything away from it tbh.

Ha! I was digging through the archives and found some stuff which I must admit I am fond of. So, yeah, that's why there's a bunch of new pics.

funny, though I had answered this yesterday...

Haha! Yes, something must have been impeding your abilities. It's not really that esoteric.

  • Apr 15 2008 8:15 PM

You don't have to make any apologies associating that mug...

Have you cared to enquire into the pictures origins at scottking. co. uk? I think you'll find there's a heavy dose of critique involved.

    Enjoy ;-)

Hello Scotish lady. Just thought I'd stop by and say hey.
  • Mar 9 2008 12:51 PM

Effective? Please explain; because I don't think the Coens wanted to tie everything up in a neat little bow. We were lefting hanging just like Tommy Lee Jones. Left to continue thinking things over like he always has been and always will. It was the perfect way to have the audience develop an empathy for him.

Margot at the Wedding is the new Baumbach film. I've heard it's a load of tosh but on the strength of the Squid and the Whale it till interests me. I've got There will be Blood and The Diving Bell lined up this week.
  • Mar 2 2008 5:21 PM

It's a commentary of the worlds trans- historical relentless violence and unpredictability. With this in mind though I still think it was made to be reassuring. If the ageing Tommy Lee Jones character still finds bemusement in his work after so many years then it's ok for us to feel that too. It's a link with the wisdom of the past if anything (think of the conversation he had with the old guy who drinks the stale coffee). I was left in awe tbh. Best film I've seen in an age and I've seen some fantastic stuff in the past few months. The scene where the gun fight spills out into the street in the middle of the night was sublime. If I cared about the oscars then I would say I was deleighted it won best film.

There is a lot to take in though. I really should see it a second time.
Have you seen Noah Baumbachs new feature?

    gorgeous, mama.

Happy V day! And by V, I mean Vagina.

And by Vagina, I mean chocolate.
  • Feb 8 2008 6:56 PM

    Innit.

That news is useless without pics, dear. Short hair can be good- Natalie Portman. Profile pic could probably do with a revamp anyway.
  • Feb 6 2008 9:21 PM

All good with appearances from Common and Kareem Abdul- Jabbar (legend- trust) but could have done without that Johanson diddy.

Should really pull the trigger on this

Actually, it's the Hibachi! But Golden Castle kind of looks nice on the outside if you haven't seen it in forever.
    It's pinkish!
