I am a movie lover. I love watching movies. I have a netflix account and I watch about three movies a week....although at the moment I'm watching several television shows on DVD. At them moment it's Dead Like Me, The L Word, and Gilmore Girls. I try to throw in a movie ever once in awhile though.
Television
Well...since I work in television, I kind of get sick of it. Yet at the same time I watch a lot of it too. The must see shows are Lost, Desperate Housewives, Simpsons, King of the Hill, ER, Survivor and My Name is Earl. I Love Earl! I love this show so much that while watching it I'm practicing the same facial expressions that Jason Lee uses while on the show. It's an awsomely funny, feel good show.

I've been living in Lexington for about 7 years now. I work at one of the local television stations as a mastercontrol operator...or operations engineer. For anyone who doesn't know what that means, that means I keep the station on air, switching between programming and commercials. Most likely if you are watching television and it goes to black or maybe static then most likely it's my fault and I'm having some sort of panic attack at that moment. I just bought my own home and within one week of living there I adopted a dog. Her name is Sasha. She has a bad hip so I then adopted a dog for her to play with in hopes that she might lose some weight from playing. The second dog is named Bug. Sasha is a border collie and Bug is a miniature pin./beagle mix. Shortly after that I also aquired two rabbits...which I kind of hate...but they're still my pets. They are named Charlie and Betty Paige. I also have two fish, but they don't have names. Okay...I swear I'm not a crazy animal lady, but I am currently volunteering at the Woodford Humane Society. I think it came from watching too much animal cops on animal planet so I felt like I needed to get involved some how...plus it gives me something to do I guess. When I have the money and time, I love to travel, even if it's just to different places in Kentucky. Of course at the moment I don't really have money or time...so at least I have my own back yard. :)

I'd like to meet some new friend...or old ones...just some people to hang out with or whatever. I've been becoming a very comfortable home body and it seems like it would be nice to have people making me get out and try new things.
