My Name is Aimee and I am 30 years old. I am happily married to Ted, who is the most wonderful man in the world.

He has been my husband for almost 9 years now. He's my best friend in the whole world. He's the love of my life and my soulmate. He's the pudding in my pop and the pop in my tarts. He is an amazing listener and very romantic when he's not being an ass. (but I love his ass anyway) He's a Leo like me.

We have a 6 year old boston / fox terrier mix named Moe and a new long haired chihuahua named Max. Now we have a pack!!!

We live in Michigan, where the winters are too long, the summers are too hot, the Autumn is the most beautiful in the world, but FAR too short and where the spring time leaves a lot to be desired. (I want a spring time like Holland has).

I am peaceful and I believe that everyone has a right to be who they are as long as they are not infringing on the rights of anyone else. I am very into helping those who need it, but not by enabling poor decisions or behaviors. I have made that mistake before. I believe in giving everyone ONE chance. After that, you have to earn another.

I believe that there are far better ways to resolve conflict than violence. I believe in INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.

I am a very emotional person who enjoys the best in life and suffers with the worst of it too. I tend to let my "friends" walk all over me and can not seem to tell them "no" at any time. I get depressed very easily and it takes me a long time to get out of these depressive states. I have Bipolar Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder.

I am a writer without any talent. I thought I did for a long time, but a few years ago, I realized that I am no good at it. I go through long bouts of writers block only to break it with some crappy poem or story every now and then.

I can be a good friend, but I also have been known to lash out to those closest to me. It's a rarity, and you really have to piss me off, but it has happened. I am very caring; sometimes too caring.

My best friends in the world are Rana Song, who is the one person for whom I would trust my everlasting soul (other than Ted) The one person I would trust my life to, (other than Ted) the person who understands me when I don't. The person who doesn't gloat when she proves me wrong (even when I do and she KNOWS she has a right to.) She has been there for me more times than I could possibly ever count yet NEVER keeps count. And even when she pisses me off to a serious degree, I can never stay TOO mad at her for long. (even when I wish I could) and Emily Rose who has continually been the boost in my morale and the song in my head. She's the reason I look at the world and certain people a lot differently. She's Trinity's gift to Jenn and I.

I'd love to major in forensic psychology, but I have no financial way of ever realizing that goal. (Not to mention I am horrible at science.

I sing, but not very well.

In life, there are many things which I hold in high esteem. One of these things is friendship. To me, friendship is one of the most sacred things that one can possess, as well as one of the most sacred things I can give. It is not often that one will find a soul with whom they can bond, a person to whom they can tell their deepest darkest secrets with no fear of rejection, an existence with which they can share all that is within, the one who finds such a friendship has found a treasure that is comparable to none.

I drown myself in music any chance I get. Without music, I would cease to live. Music is my life. I listen to A LOT of different types of music. I mostly listen to:

Poetry is very important to me. Like I said, I have no real talent, but it helps me out in my life. I write poetry, I read poetry and I try to discover new poets whenever I can. I also like to write short stories, but I rarely finish one. I have the ideas in my head but usually can not get them from brain to pen to paper.

I love to read, ..but I rarely read as much as I should... I have finally begun to read more and am trying to read more of the classics that I have always wanted to read. I love horror and true crime the most, but I read almost anything. I don't like romance personally, but I have a lot of friends who do. Some of my favorite authors are John Irving, Jodi Picoult, Alice Hoffman, Toni Morrison, Dean Koontz, John Saul, Ira Levin, Anne Rice, and Janet Fitch.

I love to cook. I love to gather my friends together at my home and play board games, eat a big dinner then watch movies. I love to learn new recipes and then modify them to my own taste if neccesary.

I journal a lot. I am a very emotional person and I have to get how I feel out on paper or I feel like I will explode. I also love to make lists.

I love to take pictures. I love photography, as I love writing, because I love life. Through photography I try to observe and describe life, through writing I try to understand life.

I love haunted and abandoned buildings. I love to visit them and research them. I especially love the history of asylums and places where groups of people lived and where families thrived. There is so much energy in those places.

Intelligence. I am rather intelligent and like to have the people I associate with be intelligent as well. I don't mean that you have to be the smartest person in the world, I give everyone a chance. But I can not handle people who are stupid. There is a HUGE difference between ignorance and sheer stupidity. I can tolerate some ignorance, (SOME) but stupidity is absolutely not tolerable.

Honesty is a must. I am absolutely honest and I expect those around me to be the same. If I have pepper in my teeth, tell me. If my outfit is hideous, tell me. If I become rude or overbearing, Tell me. I would do the same for you.

    Go girl I know you can do it. :) I quit when I was 33 then when my husband died @ 36 I started again. I only smoked not even a half a pack a day because I was so busy during the day I didn't smoke only at night before bed.
    I quit again
    when I was 43. But I know a strong gal like you will endure. Your body I'm sure goes thru some changes & only your body knows for sure lol.
