I am a girl who has adored comics since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. I adore Star Wars as well. I do artwork on the side, and since I am such a comic book nut, surprise, it is all comic book pinup girls.
I adore animals, and my daughter Squirt is a most unusual mix of dog. She is a Corgi-Husky mix, so basically, she looks like a Husky with teeny legs. She is the most awesome dog, I got her the night my husband proposed to me. He gave the her as a puppy, and then gave me the ring. How awesome is that? My son is Lil' Bud, Buddy, and BBL, for Big Bud Linebacker :) He is another strange mix, an Australian Shepard-Poodle Mix, also very adorable :) I got him for Valentine's Day :) Again, how awesome?
I read this AWESOME series by Stephenie Meyer, the Twilight Series, and am currently reading it again, seeing as how all 3 books took me 3 days to finish. (Just in case you're wondering, the Twilight movie comes out 11/21/08!!!)
The Cat Who books by my other favorite author, Lillian Jackson Braun, Harry Potter, Merlin's Legacy, (Those are romance novels), Star Wars books, Angels and Demons by Dan Brown, anything by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child (If you like Pirates, then I suggest you read RipTide) . . . Phillipa Gregory, and right now I am currently hooked on Vampyres . . . I like to read historical novels . . . (DUH, History Major :) I have books that I just have to absolutely read over every year . . . (Hey, I'm getting old, I can't remember as well as I used to . . .)
I love a bunch of different art, from Luis Royo, Boris Vallejo, Julie Bell, Rowena, Olivia de Beradinas, and various others. One of the best artist I have ever know is my sister, Lauren, though I hate telling her this . . . (you know, the whole sibling rivalry thing :)
For my music, I love Led Zeppelin, they are my favorite band :) I also love Steve Miller, the Eagles, Pink Floydd, David Bowie, Rolling Stones, Gwen Stefani, Enigma, Delirium, trance, and Celtic stuff. Also, my mother in law turned me onto this great local band from Boulder, an acapella/harmonic rock group called Face. If you have a chance to see them, do so. They are AWESOME!!! Home is my favorite song of theirs :)
As far as movies, I love Star Wars, have been an original fan since I was born, practically. I love all the Superman movies, Indiana Jones, Cars, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Pirates of the Caribbean, Walk the Line . . . I like pretty much anything there too, except for horror movies and gorey stuff. The older I get, combined with the pregnancy equals a very queasy stomach.
I love Smallville, that is my favorite show on TV. I've seen every episode since the series start back in 2001, and absolutely love it. I'm also a paranormal lover, so anything with a supernatural feel, like Ghost Hunters, Most Haunted, Destination Truth, Monster Quest, UFO Hunters, anything on cryptozoology . . . I also love All My Children. I got hooked on that when I was out of a job a few years back, and now, I'm so into it that I have to record it every day . . . And trust me, it REALLY is addicting.
I have a lot of heroes, and if you honestly want to hear about them, then let me say first and foremost are my parents and sister. My father is awaiting a heart transplant, has been in and out of the hospital consistently for about the past year, and always seem to be looking on the bright side. Also, he fought in a war that he didn't agree with, but he did it because his country asked him to, and saved some of his buddies' lives over there.
Next, my mother, for conquering her alcoholism. The road has been tough, and I know that firsthand with dad being in and out of the hospital, but shes doing it, for her granddaughter's sake.
Next, my sister, for having a congenital heart defect that she has to deal with everyday. She wasn't allowed to play sports growing up, because of her heart problem being so severe.
Next, my husband, for conquering his "sniffing" problem once he met me. I dunno if I helped with it or not, but he claims I did.
I also have a few others, but you can always ask me about those . . . Later on, maybe.
First, before I introduce myself, I want to go off on a tangent that is very near and dear to my heart. I want to explain how truly awesome my baby girl is. She was born on August 1st, and I can't even describe how much I ABSOLUTELY ADORE her. I think that once you become a parent, you automatically start trying to be a better person. Not that that happens in all cases, but I know its happened for me and my husband. We are TOTALLY in love with Isabelle, or Izzie, as she is commonly called. A complete and utter miracle. How else can I put it, but to say she is COMPLETELY AWESOME!!! I can sit and watch her in wonder for hours on end every day. The whole highlight of my day is just seeing her smile, and she is always smiling. She is the world's greatest baby ever, I think :) I absolutely love her to death. My sweet baby girl :) Now, for the rest . . .

..
Let me start by first saying,"Hi, my name is Jaime, and I have a Twilight problem. After all, the first step is admitting that you DO have a problem . . . I am hopelessly addicted to the Twilight series by Stephenie
Meyer. I sugest that if you haven't read the series, you run out and buy them right now, dammit!!!
I am 30 years old, married to an awesome guy, and am the most proudest parent of all, mother to Isabelle Virginia, and live in Denver, Colorado with my husband and daughter. We do have 3 other kids, of the furry nature, our dogs Squirt and Lil Bud (his name is actually Buddy), and Saffron our cat.
I am a banker by trade, not necessarily by choice, (it was more a fluke of nature that it happened . . .) and have recently quit my job, due to a number of factors, the first and foremost being that I really missed Izzie. So, in the interim, I am currently seeking some type of accounting/bookkeeper position that is a lot closer to home, just so I can spend more time with her. Nothing is worse than sitting at work, wondering, "What is she learning now that I'm not there to see first hand?" It broke my heart almost everyday I was away from her.
I have also recently lost my father to basically, heart disease. He passed away on August 6th after suffering a major heart attack. I miss him dearly, and know that he is constantly looking out for Izzie. What better guardian angel for my little girl than my father?
Who would I like to meet? Well, for starters, Stephenie Meyer, Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, Jacob Black . . . Carlilse, Esme, Alice, definitely, Jasper, and, I hate to say it, even some of the Volturi, preferrably Aro.
We should get together for dinner or something... I have to work at 11:30 that night so I will need sleep. Let me ask my dad and mom if they would like to set up a dinner

It has been a long time. It is still pretty nice here. I am doing much better now then I was. I am assuming that you know that Kev and I are getting a divorce. How are things going there? Izzy is getting so big and very cute.
Yes I am here, so sorry. School and work are kicking my ass. All I ever do is homework, work and sleep. I don't even have time to eat now :(. How are you? how is Izzy, she looks like you, when you were little. I want to see her. I miss you and love you! xoxo
