Heroes
My friends (the select few) that have been there for me and helped me to be the girl I am now...(Robbie thats you love. Cai,ben, H, Kendall, Ivy... you are my heroes. I love you guys to death!) I couldnt be who I am now without you all! And me, cuz no matter what the hell comes my way, Im still fuckin standing!I admire people who have the courage to stand up for what they believe in and to shout out when they think something isn't right in the world. We don't have that happening in America much anymore, but people like Martin Luther King, Eleanor Rosevelt, Malcolm X, Mother Teresa, Ghandi, Princess Di. Any idiot can point a gun and shoot it, claiming to fight for freedom and peace. I don't know about anyone else, but that sounds plain stupid to me. It takes a lot more courage and respect to resolve the worlds issues without the use of violence. Those are the real heroes, the ones worth remembering.

About me: As I have matured i've learned that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is stalk them and hope they panic and give in... I've learned that one good turn gets most of the blankets. I've learned that no matter how much I care, some people are just jackasses. I've learned that it takes years to build up trust, and it only takes suspicion, not proof, to destroy it. I've learned that whatever hits the fan will not be evenly distributed. I've learned that you shouldn't compare yourself to others - they are more screwed up than you think. I've learned that depression is merely anger without enthusiasm. I've learned that it is not what you wear; it is how you take it off. I've learned to not sweat the petty things, and not pet the sweaty things. I've learned age is a very high price to pay for maturity. I've learned that I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy it. I've learned that we are responsible for what we do, unless we are celebrities. I've learned that artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity. I've learned that the people you care most about in life are taken from you too soon and all the less important ones just never go away. And the real pains in the ass are permanent. What more can I say? I wear my heart on my sleeve and follow my heart even when that leads to places that gets me hurt or in trouble. I don't believe there is any stronger force on earth to have faith in but yourself.I've been down some difficult roads, been kicked down, been told I was nothing, had the whole world try and convince me that I am not strong enough to make it and make it big. But I've done all that and still had room for understanding and forgiveness. Life is too short to lose hope and to stay angry. I am happier now than I have ever been. I learned to take the right risks and it brought me the greatest, most compassionate man I could ever dream of. I learned to make hard choises and let go of people who were keeping me down. If I had one honest, solid, good piece of advice for anyone it would be to not take life so seriously. No one should have their whole life mapped out at 22. Live like you want to, not how everyone else does. Don't act your age all the time, go crazy, walk in the rain, dance on a table, shout on a rooftop at the top of your lungs. Do everything you've always wanted to but told yourself you can't. The only thing stopping you is yourself. Fuck everyone else, if they don't get it, their without...lol I dont know what else to say..Im very free spirited and idealistic, passionate and playful. I follow my heart, and make things complicated...typical girl I guess...I hate talkin about myself...wanna know something? Anything? Just ask...."Any idiot can say 'I love you', but those are just words, your feelings...they only affect you. It's what you do for the people you love that really matters."
Who I'd like to meet: Other than David Sedaris? Anyone who can make me smile (honestly its not that hard), isn't afraid to flirt roughly, anyone incapable of being narrow minded, who thinks they can see through me, who isnt afraid to live. Anyone who isn't afraid of taking risks, having fun or telling the truth. People liable to face their fears, achieve their goals and fullfill their fantasies. Keep me guessing....im into that. I'd love to have a few drinks with Robin Williams, George Carlin and Dave Chapell. I think it would be a long ass night with some prize stories.
As for romantic interests, I'm covered there...found the one and I'm stickin with him. No one could ever convince me otherwise.

US Congressman Barney Frank (D-MA) has announced that he will shortly introduce legislation in Congress to strip the federal government of its authority to arrest responsible cannabis consumers. Representative Frank made the announcement Friday on the nationally syndicated television show, "Real Time With Bill Maher." http://blog. norml. org/2008/03/24/norml-partners...
“It's time for the politicians to catch up with the public on this [issue],” Frank said. "The notion that you lock people up for smoking marijuana is pretty silly."
Frank's pending bill seeks to eliminate all federal penalties prohibiting the personal use and possession of up to 100 grams (3 1/2 ounces) of marijuana. Under this measure, adults who consume cannabis would no longer face arrest, prison, or even the threat of a civil fine. The bill also eliminates all penalties prohibiting the not-for-profit transfers of up to one ounce of pot.
NORML Legal Counsel Keith Stroup, who worked closely with Frank's staff to draft this legislation, said, "If passed by Congress, this legislation would legalize the possession, use, and non-profit transfer of marijuana by adults for the first time since 1937." The bill incorporates the basic recommendation of the National Commission on Marijuana and Drug Abuse (also known as the Shafer Commission).
Currently, 12 states have enacted various versions of marijuana decriminalization, eliminating criminal penalties for minor pot violations. Passage of these laws has not led to increased marijuana use.
In fact, the only U.S. government study ever commissioned to assess whether the enforcement of strict legal penalties positively impacts marijuana use found, "Overall, the preponderance of the evidence which we have gathered and examined points to the conclusion that decriminalization has had
