    jamespace's Interests
GeneralCricket. The one sport to rule them all. During the winter, apart from following international cricket, I support pretty much all of the football codes in reverse alphabetical order and where the letter R appears later than S, which is before A, and L is after U.
MusicBy 'Music' I assume this means which Journey album I find to be the best? In that case I would say 'Escape'. A bit of a safe option, I know, but I just love it too much to pass it up.
MoviesMovies are just an expensive way to watch TV unless you live in South Bank, which isn't the case. Anyone who can explain No Country for Old Men to me in a way that I can understand and relate to the movie, please leave me a comment.
TelevisionThe Office, both the original and it's Americanized form are the cream of the crop. The Extras and Black Books are also brilliant. I actually almost got to see a show by Dylan Moran, but that's a rather long and sad story. Season 1-5 of Scrubs were awesome, but I would recommend avoiding the latter seasons. Another show I find particularly entertaining is Skins. It is currently airing on SBS @ 10pm on Mondays, although I have already watched it in NZ, and I recommend watching it. And then buying the DVD. And then watching season 2. If you don't, you will miss out, which is definitely something to avoid. Other shows that I like include, but are not restricted to; FOTC, whose TV show is better than their stand-up, which is saying something, Blackadder (obviously), My Family, Spicks and Specks and Red Dwarf. As far as local TV goes, The Crowd goes Wild is definitely my pick.
BooksI try to read alot of books, but I generally only ever end up doing it when I go on a long trip or something, and then I get so engrossed in the book I stay inside reading it the whole time I'm at the place I endured the long trip to reach. It's all a bit of a mess, really. A few books for which this is not the case is The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy trilogy in 5 parts. I cannot stress how could these books are, and ow much I enjoyed them. In my opinion, it is not a question as to whether you should read these books, moreso whether you should buy them before ever reading them, or to borrow them from a library, read them and then buy them.
HeroesDouglas Adams. So much so that my goal in life is to be him, although I have accepted it will be without the creative talent. He is so awesome though, that I think I can live with it.

About me:
Welcome to Jamespace. Or should that be Jamesspace? I dunno. Anyway, as you probably know, or have guessed, my name is James. I currently live in New Zealand, although I grew up on the Sunny Coast in QLD, Australia. I spend most of my time not going to the University of Canterbury where I am completing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, although by the time you read this I will have probably changed my mind and have switched to a Bachelor of CantdecidewhatIwanttodowithmylife-ology.
Who I'd like to meet:
Douglas Adams. But to do that, I'd have to die..... hmm. Also, Bono and Steve Waugh at the same time, so I can compare their head sizes.
